How a family of 8 moved to Ghana from UK with no savings or regular job
In my opinion, relocating to Ghana or Africa from the West without any savings or a high paying job can be very challenging. It's even more challenging when done as a family with kids. In this video, I speak to a wonderful couple who's managed to relocate or move to Ghana as a family of 8 with limited savings if any with no regular job. How have they managed to do it? We find out....My name is Mickey...Keep Watching!!!
Every country has a story; so does its people. I get to travel and visit different parts of the world due to the nature of my work, so I take viewers with me in the form of vlogs to explore and tell beautiful stories of the people and the places that I am working.
I am dedicated to provide deep, meaningful and entertaining contents for you, my viewers....
So enjoy!!!

This is so good. I home educated 4 of my kids to college level. It was very rewarding. Yes you need to follow the child's interests. They need to learn what the real world is...not follow useless subjects. Now helping my oldest daughter to home-educate her daughter. As a Ghanaian- UK based. People called me crazy. They did go on to Uni but they're working and doing business too. I'm so impressed by what I'm hearing.

Wow that’s powerful! Thanks for sharing. We currently do home school too. My wife is in charge of the formal education side and I’m in charge of the informal education aspect. Currently my 12 and 13 year old girls are enrolled in Google’s Fundamentals in Digital Marketing course. I’m helping them with the certification. Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning courses are on the plan as well.

Yes I agree, moving to another country without savings may not be the best idea. But I know the UK and other western countries don't make it easy to save money. I'm from the UK and lived in Asia and moved from Asia and I now live and work in Tanzania. Africa is very peaceful. There are also opportunities to create new businesses. Good luck to this family

Listen, things are changing in the UK; you can call the police or the ambulance, and they might not turn up, you also cannot get an appointment t the doctor unless it's an emergency. It's becoming very scary.

The NHS we are over worked and underpaid. I know colleagues who left as they can get more money elsewhere. I can get a G.P appointment easily, because I don't put up with receptionist telling me whether I can have an appointment or not and sometimes I make out my ailment is more serious than it is, although last time I had an infection in my eye , once I said I was bathing my eye in bleach, they soon gave me an appointment. It is sad that I go to these lengths but sometimes it's the only way. UK has gone down into the gutter. I'm born here and there's nothing no more. No prospects

So sorry for the loss of your baby😅 I know God will turn your tears into a smile. I can fully empathise with you because I personally went through what Diana went through but I thank God I have now overcome it. Right now it is the hormones which are disturbing her because the same happened to me. The good thing is that you are believers. The Word of God says He will never leave us nor forsake us, so God will definitely put a smile onto your faces. It is well with you. Remain blessed 🙌

That was great. First time subscriber. I am from Zim. The one consistent thing I see is you have to be humble to relocate back or move to Africa. Small things should not break you. If you have lots of money well you are not that impacted. However most people do not have a lot of money so like he said see how the locals live and then figure out what mix of local and foreign living fits yout pocket. Most of the things like ham, bacon, burgers etc that most eat in the West are highly processed and not good for health which most of us dont have a good handle. I am surprised how many people have lots of ideas about making money but pay little attention to healthy living. This family will succeed because of their attitude and their understanding kids.

*This is great advice here!* Do not get to caught up into degrees, especially if one has the entrepreneurial spirit. Just relying on a formal education can shackle one to a life of mediocrity, well paid but in bondage. If you do not have the entrepreneur mindset at the time, get the degree. If you become, good if not, then the degree makes you employable and pays the bills.

There has to be a trade off. Stay at home for peace but don't drive. The luxury in living in the west is it is spacious, scenic, quality infrastructure. There is traffic jams but you can move away from those areas and have peace. Accra is very congested. There advantage is peace in Ghana and travel to the UK and the US if they choose to.
