Communal live is common in the philippines. Your girl is not homeless. She can also get an apartment for p3k that has a communal bathroom and kitchen. Something that is also commonly done in the philippines. Shes telling you that shes homeless and cant find a place for p3k ... time to re evaluate.

One guy told me in Malaysia, he went to a movie and everybody in the theater had their phones out during the movie staring at them. This is kind of scary. It's like a world of phone zombies

@yaimavol yeah has always been a problem in the Philippines they won't put down their phone for a movie - so i don't go anymore. Looks like a worldwide problem comming. Saw today a bunch of high school teachers in the U.S. are quitting because the students are addicted to the phones and don't pay attention in class or do their homework and the school won't do anything to control it.

Chicago is also known for its corrupted politics and alderman. we get robbed all the time as our high taxes get taken and used for other things and go into the pockets of those scandalous politicians. Unless you are in a relationship, you should not tolerate this. There are a lot of good people but at the same time lazy. I know several people who depends on 4P's provided by the government because they don't want to work. They will just work for a few months and then resign and choose to be jobless simply because they are used to it, many of them prefer to have a little money rather than getting tired. If her circumstances are that bad then she should be working. Don't fall for the excuses, that there are no work available. People just want an easy comfortable life and easy money.

Michael, please consider my advice having an open mind and sense of discernment .. my suspicion started when Cat mentioned that she went to Angeles city alone and didn't elaborate why. Most single women from the provinces will never go there alone , some will and resort to "prostitution" out of financial desperation. The normative for families especially in the provinces is when a daughter especially a single mom any kind of help, the family will everything to help in every way possible. You could get yourself in great danger IF Cat results to be an opportunist...you could get deported, or worst case scenario, get arrested for being falsely accused of a crime. I have a strong gut feeling about all this Michael. Maybe just help her with rent for the two months and terminate to lease contract with the landlord. After all she wasn't homeless before she met you. Please consider my advice and be very very careful my friend. God bless you Michael!

A filipino always has a place to live unless they have no family or friends. Lots of multifamily communal living. I see a lot of red flags with this situation. Get ready for lots of "emergencies" and other issues to crop up now that you have shown your generosity. I hope everything works out for you because you seem like a really nice guy. I see nothing wrong with helping her out if there isn't a financial strain for you to do it. Just don't leave her behind with another mouth to feed. If you have to cut her off at least she had a nice place to seek shelter while she could. I hope she takes the chance to find some work and become independent again. You can tell it embarrasses her to be in her current situation but that she is grateful at the same time.

LOL, She is just a woman with a child in need. I think he meant that as a funny. For myself I think living THERE would be more helpful for him as well as her. That beach place failed at being Air BnB, I'd stay there all in for 20K, but need aircon and WiFi, but then I lived a year in the Bukid in our home in Mindanao and took dipper showers with a kettle of hot water heated on palm fronds (Burns almost smokeless, and is plentiful material on Cocoanut land. 1 Kettle heats up a whole black Washtub. If I was this Vlogger, I'd stay with the lady and if a relationship happens SLOWLY, or not Ok. Think of the life of that child, not the leg spreading of the mother. You can't help everyone, but you can help someone... You help people out of your blessing not from sacrifice. Your bucket of help can NEVER meet the river of Need...

i moved to cebu in 2010 and travelled to many provinces on motorcylce trips . ililo , negros , cebu , leyte , samar . if you looking for peace and quiet , cheap living , and beautiful beaches with cheap rentals go to southern samar , you can ride a ferry from ililo to negros , then cebu then to leyte and then by road from leyet to samar . its a amazing experience and you will love it , its cheap and once you in leyte and samar there is no traffic . ive made these trips many times and everytime i had a blast and didnt cost much

That is a nice house. The lighting and colors are very relaxing. Having the girl as a temporary house keeper is a future headache in the making possibly when the time comes to move out. Also sort of awkward if you get the chance to meet other girls. But its also nice to not be alone. Nice set up.
