A judges ruling that he has violated a gag order is technically a legitimate reason for revocation of his release from custody pending trial in all cases against him. It constitutes a violation of the conditions of release. Will any of the judges take the opportunity to confine him until conclusion of those trials? No. So it is a none issue and irrelevant media talking point. May as well bicker about why checkers are red and black or chess pieces are black and white.

Here's the thing, I think the reason for Thursday is exactly both to ppear fair and give Trump EVERY chance to stop before Thursday. The criminal justice system is different from the civil system. It has components that don't nexist in civil court. Mainly it is designed to contain and control prisoners and to move them from lock down to court safely. The criminal justice system does this every single day.

This isn't about what a president can do on his own, it's about what his Council tells him he can or can't do. So, the question is, what resource is the council using to form their opinion? And how would that change depending on the court decision? Let's ask a previous council.

"Gag orders are always of Constitutional concern" because the patchwork of Constitution plus some "Amendments" to correct errors and integrate updates does not protect the people but some diffuse principles. Your "free speech right" has to end when my name comes out of your mouth (or I am topic of your "free speech" to be identified by any other logic conclusion) - that is how civilized nations have phrased their constitutions - not the free speech in the focus of attention but the right of everybody to live without threats and dangers caused by other's "free speech" or "First Amendments", "Second Amendments" and the "freedom of the press" to make money on lies, slander, and suppression of facts to the benefit of the media and the owners of the USA who need to control public opinion to suppress every negative ideas on their unlimited rights to make profit. When I was young, there were 60% middle class who could live a comfortable life, 10% rich who owned 90% of the nation's wealth with the rest being poor. Now it is 1% who own 98%, 20% middle class (redefined as "not poor" and not super-rich) an the rest poor, paycheck to paycheck or living in the streets.
