The docu-movie of several years ago, The Social Dilemma, showed how Google will deliver search results based on the videos you have watched, the websites you have visited, the previous searches you have made, etc. For example, if you are conservative and search climate change, the bulk of your results might be "Is a hoax" (or words to that effect) whereas if you are liberal the bulk of of your climate change search results might be "Is getting worse." Pretty darn scary.

NB: even though I'm not a Trump supporter, I'd say that his presidency was clearly a symptom rather than the cause (if anything, it would have been worse with HRC, as we can observe now with Biden). Then again, the cause also clearly is not Covid, definitely not in and of itself, but the way it was handled in this already-neoliberalized world.

It also makes you wonder who are the "Learning A.I." robots learning from and who are they observing? It's learning and observing BAD humans that are corrupt, money-driven, and have foul intentions. I'm just waiting for these fools to make A.I. sentient and they then demand compensation for their work, receive a higher/livable pay, have benefits, want specific pronouns to be used, and view "Turning Off" an electronic device as committing a Murder and receive the consequences that come with it. SMH - we're the ONLY species that can make our OWN species go extinct.. lol

I know this is supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek video, but I also think it's partly serious, and it resonates with me, I agree with you. This is why I don't like cameras like the zve1, that just do everything for you, and I refuse to use stock footage or stock music on any of my films, and this is also why I have problems with the way people market themselves and "brand" themselves, because we are dumbing ourselves down slowly but surely, until there's nothing human left. I think this sounds overly dramatic, but I think it's true :-) This is one of the reasons I love live theater so much, because it's right there, indisputable, at least the type of theater that I am involved with. And the type of filmmaking that I do, is always going to be human as well. I love the process, I love the journey, I love the learning, the mistakes along the way, the growth, that's what it's all about, at least to me. To be able to push a button and suddenly some art is magically created is not interesting to me at all. I think this all means that I am not a young person. :-) thanks for sharing

In the 60's and 70's we trusted Walter Cronkite to tell us the news. Later in 70 and 80 it was 60 minutes we trusted. Later the news channels seemed to get more politically split and definiitive sides reported their biased news stories. Next came social media as the source for all truthful news stories. Now we move into the AI era where AI will shorten and resolve truthful news stories derived from a biased social media posting. Crazy times! Come back Walter....come back.

Nothing obsolete about drawing, since more then 30000 years. Not even photography killed it, only photorealistic style did not sell well for a while. AI won’t kill photography either. We just need to embrace the change and get creative again.

You personally will be the good proof that AI can never simulate, copy or clone your identity! Just last week I banned the Top** sharpen tool from my PC. It did not improve my photos, but showed me things I had never photographed. Not a tool - a stupid toy called AI!
