I had one, mine never had any problems apart from timing belt tensioner failing over a jump 😂 I had to rebuild the top end with new valves, waterpump and timing belt kit. After that no problems apart from an earth strap breaking but was only a £5 fix

In the UK its called the GTI 180, everywhere else it was called the RC.
