Always appreciate your post fellas. Just a few things when it comes to the shoulders they can be adjusted it's just going to shorten the sleeves and potentially could cost some serious bread. But if you find a good thrift option it could be a worth while investment. It's also important for fellas to check out the lapel width because that will be the frame to determine the spread of the collar and the tie. When it comes to the pants they should also remember the rise of their pants because most men tend to wear their suits like they would wear jeans which can make them look shorter or fatter. Looking forward to the tailoring trip. Keep doing your thing fellas.

Hey gentlemen, love your videos and the information you guys give!! One thing I would mention: Not all suits are made to be taken in or out, it depends on where you buy the suit. Some viewers(like I see everyday at work) may still be purchasing their suits from a Men's Warehouse/Jos A Bank type, who use glue in the fusing of their canvassing. This glue makes it very tough for tailors to even go back into the jacket and take or release fabric. I've been working at Suitsupply for about 2 years now and have learned that the best way to buy a jacket "off the rack" is to find jackets that have the canvassing stiched in. So, to anyone reading who needs advice on purchasing the right suits, make sure you're asking if the canvas is stiched into the jacket, and make sure it is not "fused". Keep up the good work, guys!! -A suit connoisseur.

the right fit of a suit/jacket also depends of the drop: so its not only just the size alone. a good shop will guide you imo so you will buy the right stuff.

I buy my suits from Harry Rosen. The suits I own are from J.P Tilford by Samuelsohn, Canali and Coppley. Harry Rosen is amazing with their customer service I had all my suits tailored as I bought them and I also had to bring them in for alterations a year later due to weight gain. they took care of it free of charge due to their lifetime maintenance guarantee policy. I also have a m2m suit from Garrison bespoke which fits like a glove.

Right now, it's stylish to wear a fitted suit. Some men take it too far & their suits are too tight...everything (coat, pant) is stretched out....I would say it's more than snug. To me it doesn't look good & I always think they wont have that suit for long...

I like a suit but my biggest pet peeve is a suit pant that hugs the ankle almost. I think there should be some give in pants and a tapper at the legs. But not to were you suit and stretch the seems. Some guys go waay over board. And I mean, not as a homophobic comment, but it will look feminine. I see this with big guys a lot, like dudes with strong legs or heftier bros. The only dude that I've seen take the big dudes shopping is Alpha Male but they dont really get into suits they do but not in detail. Now yall some small fellas, but the suit guide should be for our big bros. . . . . a small dude like yourselves can rock even a bigger suit and look great. Now your hefty bros, theres you're challenge.
