The fallout of the sober living crackdown continues. The state has suspended payments to nearly a hundred more providers since August, accusing them of Medicaid fraud. FOX 10 Investigates looks into a situation at a Tucson hotel where roughly 200 tenants are on the streets because of a sober living program that stopped paying rent.
Our newsroom received several tips about the hundreds of tenants being evicted from a hotel that was used for a sober living facility.
We’ve learned residents did not get any services from the program and the provider that allegedly recruited them is connected to Valley. He was recently suspended by the state’s Medicaid agency for allegations of fraud.

IRS involved? Are there any sanctions or protocols for those in need? Give those, knowledge to get their EOB access! Who knows how far those vulnerable persons had their identity utilized!

There's still no hope whatsoever for any of us on AHCCS, or Lack Ses, for homelessness due to addiction. Addiction is a disease and the medical establishment agrees with that, so wheres the treatment we need!!?😢

Apparently you can start up a sober living facility and no one from the government will come and confirm and inspect the building. How F'n incompetent are these clowns running the show that they never go see if the building even exists!?!?

These are usually small rag tag operations but its easy to see how fraud could be involved with insurance and that whole scam angle. These rehab treatment segments do great work though generally speaking and help hundreds of thousands.

Nobody would do anything 9 years ago & Phoenix college, banner hospital and many many more have been abusing people, nobody will do anything but harm!

A boy I was dating was in one these houses he’s moved 3x in 10 months and now it seems like he’s in serious house he has to do 3 classes from 9am-11am I think he has to ask to go places I think he gets passes and has to ask to go places and get it approved but the entire time he would be on streets and go home way later to sleep eat shower but he just had tell house manager there’s 3 ppl rotate all day 8 hours shifts … omfg The cat 🐱 pets 😢 who can do that but the real sober homes you can not have puppy pets
