He seems like an ok dude. My treatment is nearing an end, so I'm not looking to introduce a pharmacist, if anything I'm just looking to wrap it up and be out in society, but I can see how it might be helpful to have somebody with medication competence, who wasn't in power over you in your care team. For me psychiatry seems like this, yes, very abusive and controlling force, but ultimately not evil. If anything I just think it's a very heavy handed approach. So yea, always glad to see another video from you, and keep on using your voice to empower and speak life. I always watch your videos as soon as they pop up.

I was wondering if you have experience with or would do a video on medications not “curing” mental illnesses and how they don’t necessarily get rid of all symptoms. It’s something I struggle with and would love to hear your take.

There are many MH pharmacists in Canada and the US too! Many of them in the US at least hold a doctorate degree and have undergone residency training. If you're interested in speaking with one i encourage you inquire with your care team if they have one on staff!

@ashtonholley6187 How do I go about finding a mental health pharmacist in the U.S.? My son was diagnosed with bipolar 1 two years ago. He is currently seeing his 4th psychiatrist. The doctor’s cNt seem to find medication that works well enough for him to cope with daily life. Thanks!

Did you know that the manufacture of Risperidone got sued for killing elderly people in nursing homes after giving it to them after it was proven it causes early death. Risperidone is a dangerous medication giving by negligent doctors who want to desperately sedate people who struggle with psychosis but should not be taken for long periods of time because it has been proven and it is FACTS. that it causes heart failure.

I'm watching this video in England. The main problem here is that Matthew as a pharmacist in the UK would not have access to your full medical notes, let alone the psychiatrist's notes. He can apply to look at a summary only of your GP notes in exceptional circumstances. As Matthew said these drugs are not TicTacs.
