Great video, one tip is to keep your flashlight on your left side(non dominate side) as apposed to behind the gun in this video, so you can acess your light with your left hand when your gun is drawn. A flashlight is a support item and like a radio should be on the left side to be used while the firearm is trained on a target.

Has weapon light on pistol. No need to use in conjunction. Support gear means ammo. That’s what you put on your left side.

BlackScoutSurvival Cool, makes sense for his rig. For street patrol you could get in a situation where you dont have justification to draw a fire arm yet but want to have a light pointed at them with your left hand, right hand waiting on your holster incase, while you use verbal comands to de-escelate the situation

Tactical Ty Cool bro, thanks for replying!, i would still keep it on left side due to muscle memory but yes it is different than a duty/patrol belt! Have a good weekend!

Thank you for the insightfull explenation and ‘how to’. I would like to ask if these belts are sometimes combined with an H-harness? Seems plausible to loop the straks around the belt and keep them located in a similar fashion as to how all the other items are kept from moving side to side. Another question I have is: how does your normal belt sit underneath these types of belts? Isn’t it uncomfortable to have another belt below this one? Or is it one of those velcro belts which keeps this one in place? Thank you in advance for your reply. With kind regards, Marten

Thanks....Im no operator...(just a mailman)...But I was always curious...If shit hits the fan, I guess my Kore Essentials gun belt will be enough to sling a pistol, few mags and a med kit....If anyone is interested, that Kore Essentials trak line gun belt is a really sweet piece of kit....God Bless u out there and keep up the good work.

For the life of me, I can't understand everyone's craze with a battle belt. If I'm going into a situation where I could be shot, I'd just wear body armor. I have the exact same gear on my body armor. And it's bullet proof.
@caleb8626
@caleb8626 5 жыл бұрын
SHTF Hunter Thats not all of the gear they carry. Depending on the situation they will have that and a plate carrier. Its a good way to move things around and have extra space. And if for some reason you have to ditch the plate carrier, you will still have your belt
@SgtRudySmithbRet
@SgtRudySmithbRet 5 жыл бұрын
This is what's called first line gear.
@caleb8626
@caleb8626 5 жыл бұрын
SHTF Hunter And if you plan on wearing body armor alot in shtf you obviously dont train with your gear. Body armor should only be worn if you KNOW there will be a fight or it’s HIGH RISK. But you should never wear it when conducting a simple patrol or scavenging. It burns calories and slows you down.
@Dero_milsurp
@Dero_milsurp 5 жыл бұрын
Craze? It's not a craze. It's an efficient setup for rapid use. It's first line gear. You don't always get the luxury of time when threats present themselves and a battle belt can be worn in tandem with a plate carrier so just in case you have to ditch your carrier, you still have the essentials. Oh, and body armor is NOT "bullet proof".

where are regular people gonna walk around with a battle belt - looks a little weird on a greyman
@ld2706
@ld2706 5 жыл бұрын
You dont walk around with it. You train with it on, and it's a way to keep your range gear organized and at the ready. Home invasions happen, if you had the choice when someone's threatening your family do you want to be searching for your gear or just grabbing what you can? Plate carrier? I know I want those things where I can get them and be ready. Even if its locked up and you get to it. At least it's all ready to go.
@ld2706

Where did they say this has anything to do with greyman?... not everything black scout survival has to do with "greyman". Do you ask these questions when Jack shows of gear for being in the woods?? Nope.
