Indians were only able to hold on some of it's culture because even after 200 years of colonisation & 600 years of Islamic Invasion. Indians were constantly fighting for their culture. Islamic armies vanquished many civilisation but failed to do so in India(to some extent). Same goes for British they slaughtered red indians & native Australian tried to do the same in India but failed. In all this onslaught unfortunately we have lost most of our culture, history has been distorted, culture has been corroded with misconceptions, superstition because of half baked knowledge. After, independence instead to rejuvenating our culture political parties focus more on squeezing more votes from diving majority & taking votes from minority by suppressing majority. Basically, fall of Indian culture has been linked with the interest of Political party i.e Congress by British. This was a genius move by them which has stopped Indian from rejuvenating it's culture & motivate narrative that will make Indians look down on their own culture. You'll see many people in comment section will prove me right.

Not only british religion we also need to reject ARABIAN relgion. We need to go back to our pagan roots. Day by day we are losing our cultural dept. Its high time to take step and revive our civilisational value

We Indians do admire American freedom and democracy to some extent but not british culture, food and religion. That's because we Indians have the best food, religion, dress code and culture but some westernised men in our country feel inferior in wearing dhotis. Apart from those pigs, everything is First Class! *However, English is still very much preferred in Indian schools* because good English means better career prospects for the child as the international language mostly preferred and followed even within Europe is English AND we Indians leave our land for better economic prospects for US where English is important. However, I would like to clear one thing. *If you know Sanskrit but not English, u will be viewed as a superior character, high quality human with the best of knowledge in the world.* So if u wanna look intelligent and scholarly and the best of men, know Sanskrit not Hindi or any other Indian regional language because Sanskrit is the mother of all languages. So in the north, people don't consider Hindi as better than English but south Indians consider English as most advanced, I don't know why. However, Sanskrit will always be considered as topmost. So if any African, European, middle eastern, east Asian man or woman or transgender speaks Sanskrit fluently but speaks broken English or doesn't know English, will be viewed with utmost awe, respect and integrity and u will win a lot of local support and love. *Sure if u speak Hindi u will be given many smiles but sanskrit is the bomb* Remember that!!!
