Is not only that.. Every player has to go through a period of adaptation. You are used to play one way and suddenly you have new teammates, new tactics. You need to get the chemistry with your team. Of course Mac is world class and I knew he would adapt pretty fast. I am from Argentina, and I have to say.. After Messi, Di Maria and Dibu Martinez.. I think Mac is one of the main reasons Argentina won the World Cup

Love most of it, but Diaz has been playing out of his mind. He's our best progressive carrier, and even though he doesn't have as many goals as Jota, to me he is a quintessential starter. I wonder how Tsimikas or Gomez would look in that inside attacking role. Also, Diaz tends to turn right at a certain point when he's dribbling, if our left back could hold that place while Diaz holds the wing with the two switching frequently, that could be potent. Also, it wasn't until Robertson came on, that Diaz looked like the best dribbler in the world against City, I think the pair work well together. I love Jota, but I see him as a lethal sub for one of our attackers, I think forcing defenses to adjust to Jota at the top in the sixtieth minute has been crucial for a lot of Liverpool's come-from-behind wins.

@@itsurboyhass he's not flashy and all, so his contribution goes waay under the radar. But he's been a ffkkn pillar for the team so far... Even playing DMF at some point. Consistently covering all defensive positions. Like I said, I get that people would see the Conors, Endos, even ffkkn Gravenberch before looking at Joey. But Joe's consistently been the pillar of the team. Analyze it for a second and tell me I'm wrong.

He was worth every penny they paid, I would say he has met expectations so far if perhaps not exceeding them yet, which is more to the surrounding injuries. While I agree with your perspective Hass, unfortunately Klopp isn’t always as flexible with his strategies and formations! Macca is a natural 10 type of player and someone like him should become a position free X player with his high IQ so long as he knows how to connect mentally with players who have similar IQ like Salah, or with fast paced juggernauts like Nunez. Firmino was the closest thing we’ve had to Macca’s style, and that’s why we’ve had at one point the best front 3 in the world.

dribbling wise and energy wise he is the player but the most decisive player in the team is still Salah, also this team falls off a cliff without Darwin as the center forward he keeps the defenders busy with his chaos

@@hr-g4640I wouldn’t say decisive is salah he gets all the chances tbh. Nunez gets less chances than him and creates a lot. The team looks for salah more and rightfully so but I think we need to lean on Nunez more and open up the game for the wingers more with Nunez’s chaos kind of like firmino in his own way.

@@chikoman4926 all our players are good but you have to give him a credit he deserves, when Salah, Jota and Nunez were injured and Gakpo was out of form he was the last man standing, we can’t lose his energy, work rate consistently, dribbling and goals. Lucho is definitely the best player in LFC in 2024.

No es así. Durante la lesión de Salah, Macca se cargó el equipo al hombro y creó un muy buen juego desde su puesto. Incluso creo que jugaron mejor y mucho más colectivamente porque tener que pasarle todas las pelotas a Salah los limita.
