When Violet said Croatoan during the Murder House season, it did not work for her because she was already a ghost/spirit herself at that point. However, it did work for others during the Roanoke season.

Actually, Croatoan did not work during Roanoke either. My Roanoke Nightmare (which wasn't entirely true, remember) showed the spell as useful. Meanwhile, Ashley Gilbert tried to use it against Piggy Man in real life and got sliced into bits.

THe only person who has successfully used the croatoan was one of the old owners of the roanoke mansion: that Elias Cunningham guy who got crazy. He used it while it still wasn't a blood moon. Everyone else did it under a full moon lol

@NymphOfTartarus yeah, they are completely different people with not similar looks. Viewers see them in another way, but in fact all we have are just frames of description. For example, blonde skinny girl with thin face features - it doesn't form the appearance of Madison, right? She is up to this description, too, but in AHS universe she doesn't have Emma's face.

Alot of people don't realize, (though some of us fans out here, like myself, understand this already), that every season of the show not only is connected, but are based off of either 1 or multiple true stories that the creators are bringing to life for us to watch. Obviously, the names are different, maybe what happens is a bit different, but, the core of each season, the main thread, is true. This is one of the main reasons why I've been watching from the beginning and will continue to watch until the show leaves the air, it's sooooo good! 😃

James March’s accent on Hotel is actually called the “transatlantic accent” and was very popular for movie and theatre actors, as well as the old money east coast upper class families, and radio operators for the military and entertainment(because it would help listeners understand what they were saying due to the poor sound quality of the time) Look it up it’s actually very interesting! It explains why people in old movies talk so funny(it’s not how everyone actually spoke back then)

Josephine George it was a different actress playing the real scathatch. Gaga could only appear in a few episodes and all her scenes were filmed over 2 weeks because she had other things she was doing at the time such as recording and releasing her album Joanne.

I think it’s better that the Aliens continue untouched. That was the whole point of their inclusion. Ryan Murphy said that they were metaphors for God and therefore were left purposefully ambiguous. I think exploring them too far ruins that.

Finale of Asylum, during the Lana Winters interview, it's mentioned that Lana interviewed Bernie Madoff in prison, she could also have met the Countess. And it is mentioned that Lana worked for NBC in her early career, roughly the same time Elsa Mars would have made it there. Fun speculation, of course.

Before Apocalypse there was a theory floating around that Zoe was a descendant of Scathach, but post Apocolypse it seems like it would be more fitting for Mallory, one of the strongest witches ever who loves nature and future supreme, to be descended from the first Supreme.

Mallory changing time did not affect moira because she was no longer on the physical plane, just like papa’s deal to switch marie & dinah still sticks. Otherwordly beings, deals & spirits passed were unaffected we know this because papa, underworld demons, & nan knew what mallory did

Constance mentions having distant relatives with the surname "DeLongpre" which is also the last name of former supreme Mimi DeLongpre Really small, but in season 4 when Elsa is a tv star, she promotes the "Campfire Gold Coffee". In Season 5, Liz and Iris store Donovan's ashes on an empty Campfire Gold Coffee can Also on Roanoke, we learn that the ghost Piggy Man who serves the Butcher inspired one of the Polks, Kincaid, to go on a murder spree. His "real life" (in the ahs universe) story could have been the basis for the Piggy Man urban legend that one of Ben's patients is afraid of in Murder House Apparently Mary Eunice was posessed by Satan himself, who is Michael's "father". Maybe since the Angel of Death took him at the end of Asylum, he cant directly do his shenanigans in the world which is why he needed a son, the antichrist.

I read a theory on reddit that the reason Satan possessed Mary Eunice is because his plan was to infiltrate the Catholic church from the inside and work his way up, eventually causing the apocalypse once he was in a high enough position. However, he was stopped when Monsinior Timothy Howard threw Mary Eunice to her death, setting her spirit free to heaven and banishing satan back to hell. Then Satan came up with a plan B, which turned out to be Michael Langdon.

Wouldn’t the countess be alive because after the time travel fix, queenie was diverted from going to LA therefore Ramona wouldn’t have been pumped up with witches blood and met the countess later on. So there would have been no distraction for the countess to leave at the time John would go up to kill her. 🤔

With the timeline created by Mallory. Vivian and Ben are still happily together as the reason they were fighting was because Ben was seeing Michael. And since Michael died before he got to the house to look for his grandma, that never happened. Sad that Moira never got out of the house, but I am fucking happy that Tate didn't got his stupid fucking "redemption" story.

I heard people saying that Moira still got out because Billie Dean back in S1 said time works differently for spirits. So it could be that as soon as Moira passed on into the afterlife she was no longer affected by time the way mortals are, thus still being there and not trapped in the house again. I think this is true because Nan seemed to have understood what Mallory did due to her saying "just say thank you" to Cordelia when Mallory got Misty back with her "demon street cred". Nan is a spirit (kinda) now and wasn't clueless as to what was going on unlike Cordelia who WAS affected by the time travel and therefore had no idea how Misty came back at first. Meanwhile Nan brought Misty personally and wasn't all like "hi guys" again like the first time we saw her in Apocalypse. So her memory probably remained since she's a spirit. So yeah I think Moira got out cause she already joined the spirit world before the time travel happened

@@MistarZtv Yeah I think Tate's ending gets reversed. Since Constance became a spirit in the murder house and yet was still alive when Mallory went back, it means that spirits still bound to Earth via the murder house get affected by time travel, so Violet went back to ignoring Tate.

God i miss Apocalypse. I already gave up on the show getting it's first 3 seasons spunk on but then apocalypse came and my mind was blown away. I wish it wasn't this short and i really want Ryan to give the Coven a spin off show or another season because lets face it, they are the memorable, badass and iconic characters of the whole series and it's just not gonna change... AHS IS coven.

What if time travel doesn't affect ghosts? James Patrick March did say witchcraft doesn't affect ghosts, and technically tempus infinituum is a spell performed by a witch (Mallory), does that mean the same rules apply?? Fuck Tate and Violet, I want Moira to have her happy ending. Side note: Nan wasn't affected by time travel either because she was in a different realm with Papa Legba. Spirits are stuck in the halfway point between this realm and the next. What does everyone think?

The only reason Moira left the house was because the ghost of Constance wanted her out of there. In the new timeline, Constance lived and never had a chat with Madison and Behold about Micheal in exchange for Moira's spirit leaving since Micheal was dead. So I think all of the Murder House events were wiped out.

The spirits being stuck in the buildings only applies to the murder house and hotel because theyre over gateways to hell. I forget where it was said but it was mentioned in one of the seasons I *think it may* have been in coven or apocalypse and it was said by billie dean *i think* or it couldve been the tech kids played by Evan Peters and Billy Eichner who had sold thier souls to the devil for career success.

I don’t understand how people can’t see that AHS has two separate universes. Look: Universe 1: Murder house Coven Hotel Apocalypse Universe 2: Asylum Freak show Roanoke Cult These two universes NEVER have crossovers or easter eggs between them. Try to connect for example asylum and coven. There’s no crossovers at all. I don’t know what that means but I think I have got this right. Or do anyone se connections between any seasons that isn’t in the same universe that I divided them into? Can we discuss :/

Well, Greg & Ryan did mention that the detective in Murder House and Freak Show have the same name. I’d call that an easter egg. And, The Scáthath in Roanoke is supposedly the original Supreme (Coven, Apocalypse).

LOVE your videos, especially the AHS ones. My husband & I had a disagreement recently over Dr. Arden. I said it was the same doctor in Asylum who amputated Elsa’s legs & was the Natzi doctor in Freakshow, & he said it wasn’t. Can’t wait to show him this video! lol Thanks for your help! 👍🏻

Don't forget the reference to Ratched in Asylum!! When they ask the Monsenior to perform last rights for shelly in the hospital they talk about "priests being in a panic with everything that's going on right now" - I think referencing to the murders of the priests in Ratched

on James March's accent: his character is based off of H.H. Holmes, who is from New Hampshire. Many people here in the New England are have somewhat of a Boston accent, whether we realize it or not. Just a thought!

While I love my queen Sarah Paulson, I always get confused when they use the same cast for every season. Like it’s unique and fun for a little bit, but when you start crossovers it’s hard to tell who is from that season and who is a crossover.

I did used to watch A.H.S, but up to hotel, and that was about it...i did enjoy the franchise....not only on a thriller and a mystery level, but a entertaiment level, something to sit down to with a duvet-covered couch/bed(since i used to watch Netflix half the time on my phone as well as my ipad) with a bowl of popcorn and some soda and just binge-watch

Drives me nuts about Rose. In the first season the 4th child was a male albino and was cut from the show. Not sure why, but it was not a little girl!

The albino was supposed to be a cross dressing male, who molested Tate when he was younger. this is also why Tate hates gays and why he murders Chad and Patrick as brutally as he did.
