Taking a ride around San Diego residential areas to admire spectacular Christmas and New Year decorations. Often the whole community is decorated and the street is lit up as during the day. Families are walking around, enjoying fascinating illumination and figurines, celebrating Christmas and greeting each other. And yes, it is odd sometimes to see palm trees decorated with christmas lights.
