Chouza in a hypothetical butterfly mode would get stomped by full Kyuubi, and I certainly do not believe that base Chouza is stronger than Kakashi. You can get more sage energy the more chakra you have, but it still remains an addition amp. It's just that with more normal chakra you get more nature energy and therefore you get a bigger flat bonus to your power

So yes, it is additional, but the value increases with the more regular chakra you have, making it a multiplicative amp that scales up.

how sage energy/senjutsu works is it mixes 33% nature energy 33/ physical energy and 33% spiritual energy so basically 66% ur chakra and 33% nature energy. therefore its 33% multiplier to ur chakra but that isnt for everyone. kurama states in the final valley fight that he absorbed ALL of the nature energy in his range of absorption. this means that nature energy is a limited supply of energy meaning if ur chakra reserves are high enough nature energy literally just dont help you. say theres 10000 nature energy in the world but naruto has 100000000 chakra that means if he went regurler sage mode it'd only increase his chakra by by 1/10000th of a percentage. or something like that i have no math skills failing all my classes>

A few things. Chakra is a mix of physical and spiritual energies, sage chakra is nature energy added upon that. The exact proportions of those energies varies by technique. Note, technique, not necessarily ninjutsu, but everything a ninja does that a normal human can't. Even their raw physicality is amped by chakra. More power, more speed, more precision, all of that is facilitated by chakra (and training of course, though it cannot be stressed enough that the boundary between human and superhuman is not crossed by routine practice). If a technique uses 95% physical energy and 5% spiritual energy, doubling the amount of spiritual energy within the technique doesn't double the power of the technique, it causes it to fail entirely, unless you also double the amount of physical energy as well to match the correct proportion for the technique you're using. The end result is a jutsu that is twice as strong using twice as much energy. Very much not exponential, but linear at best. The amount of energies you have access to does not dictate the amount of chakra you do use with one technique, it dictates the maximum amount you can use total before you simply die of chakra depletion. This, naturally, shows that your assertion of exponential power growth via chakra pool is simply false. Sage chakra and sage mode are two different (albeit connected) things. Sage chakra is simply chakra with nature energy mixed in. Sage mode is a specific technique that utilizes sage chakra to enhance the user's physical capabilities. Like all techniques, its overall effectiveness is dictated by both the amount of chakra put into the technique, and how precisely the ratios of the energies within that chakra match the demands of the technique. To say that sage mode is a power multiplier is not entirely inaccurate, but it is quite misleading because it implies that the technique is a static ability that affects all users in identical ways.

Kidomaru is measuring the power of his attacks for us using numbers. Without CM2, he goes up to 100% power. With CM2, he goes up to 125% power. If it were a 10x amp, he'd be going up to 1000% power.

No, sharingan does not buff the user's physical attributes. It's just reaction time, due to predictive vision. It's difficult to really convey how massive that advantage is. Just as an example... take a bolt of lightning. If they could react instantly (0 reaction time), a human could dodge it by moving at a mere 28 miles per hour. Sharingan allows its users to react with *negative* reaction time, literally reacting to things that have not happened yet. For perspective... lets say ninja A has a reaction time of 0.1 seconds and ninja B has a reaction time of -1 seconds. If ninja A's combat speed is literally 10x ninja B's combat speed, ninja B still has a slight advantage in reaction speed.

The 100 healings mark flat out isn't a buff at all. It's a jutsu that operates in 2 phases, phase 1 is passive storage of chakra, phase 2 is releasing that chakra to cause the body's cells to divide at an impossibly rapid rate. There literally is no power boost from it.

Meaning it's still a multiplier but not as much as 10x like what was stated. It'd be more like 1.25x multiplier at the very least as we know Sasuke and Kimimoru was stated to have stronger cursemark

It means it literally cannot be. It tells us 2 things that must be true, that both CM2 is an additive power boost and not multiplicative, and that Kidomaru's base power is 36x Jirobo's. Both of those must be true for CM2 to have the stated 10x boost for Jirobo and the stated 1.25x boost for Kidomaru. This seems entirely unreasonable, frankly. The power gap between the sound 4 is not that vast. We see this by the fact that none of them take an obvious leadership role among the 4, and the fact that all 4 are equally exhausted after dealing with the jonin duo. @@JellySlays Unlikely based on the Sasuke vs Naruto fight. Sasuke doesn't use the curse mark at all during the fight, until the very end where he enters CM2 for one single attack. In base, with 3 tomoe sharingan, Sasuke is shown to be slower but able to at least react fast enough to not die. In CM2, he's still shown to be slower, and still barely able to react fast enough to not die. This point is very important because we saw that base Sasuke's 2 tomoe sharingan was getting overwhelmed by Naruto, and the 3rd tomoe allowed Sasuke to defend himself, so we know the reaction time boost was pretty substantial. And we know from the Sasuke vs Zaku fight that the curse mark does boost speed in some capacity. Eight Gates isn't even a multiplier, the body naturally limits the strength of the person, eight gates is unlocking those limits, so the effect is multiplicative, but for a different reason, it is going from 10% to 100%, it does have a limit, but no one could be strong that using that technique wouldn't have an effect

i dont think sasuke wouldve been that powerful. theres statements of over 100x multipliers from 4 tails level naruto amps.

Hashi gained a boost in power many times over his base he even compared himself to jubito in the war arc but when madara got it, it was "negligible" or in his words "only gave him plus 5 attack stats" which is true sage mode didn't give him more power for the sake of plot.
