Awesome story... I have a similar one, and dream of owning my own box also. This is definitely an inspiration to me. Congrats on your transition, and here's to continued success.

I had two uncles who were drug addicts. They stole rent money from my mother, they stole car parts from my dad, and they broke into their sister’s house to steal her tv and stereo equipment. Drugs can really destroy people, their families and society as a whole. My uncles died in their 50s from their addictions. I’m so happy that this guy changed his life and found his passion. He really motivates me to be a better person and go work out.

Does anyone remember the name of that “series” on this channel about a former convict starting CrossFit ?

Fuck!!! I started to use H and metadon last week again after one whole year of crossfit and clean life. Everyone in box will judge me I can't talk to people or coaches they will expelled me. I'm so down, in my country crossfit community is not so supportive like in USA od other country's . Don't know what to do. Once again in my life, i have over 30 year, can't do it anymore. Crossfit was my cure and salvation but i cracked.
