Going into Final Kombat 2020, one name was on everyone's lips: NinjaKilla.
NinjaKilla was an online warrior who many thought couldn't cut it on the tournament stage. But in his first year of competition, he made it all the way to the world finals.
But one person threatened to tear down everything NinjaKilla worked all year for: SonicFox, the undisputed greatest Mortal Kombat player of all time.

Really cool to see sonic talk about NK like this. A lot of his fans don't acknowledge how good ninja truly his, and like sonic said, ninja is a prodigy and will only come back stronger. Those two really are the gods of this game.

JDCR isn’t the god he was, many others have caught up and surpassed him. Knee, Qudans (who is the original best Tekken 7 player and it wasn’t even close) but most importantly the current Tekken 7 god is Arslan Ash. Heera Malik is another player fast approaching Arslan’s level of dominance. Who would’ve guessed that Pakistan has the best players in the world?

He needs to add two more characters to his squad. Cetrion can't win them all. Eventually you know what to expect when you play him. Sonic stays very flexible with a handful of characters he can use. Ninja has two. Dragon's weakness is him only sticking with one character. I remember him using Kitana Highborn and it seemed to work for him against Sonic Fox, but by that time it was too late. He needs atleast two more characters that do completely different things from Cetrion. Maybe a rush down character and a grappler. Or maybe a 50/50 character. Just something different from zoning.

One of the things I look for in the most in sports player is their ability to show good sportsmanship. So, it's really relieving to see Ninja and SF show that kind of sportsmanship to each other.

when I first saw ninjkilla he was the first person I thought that could be on par or dethrone sonic as the best in what they do. it’s just so awesome they’re both the best in the world, sonic being first ninja being right there at 2. and watching them face off is and will always be dope

That’s awesome that his family supports his gaming career. Most of the times it seems like these players parents don’t approve of them playing or they do it in secret, sneak over to tournaments. Props to his parents for not being stuck in the past like a bunch of other close minded adults.

Arslan Ash’s was a great underdog story, but this was perfect, everyone doubted NK because everyone thought he was just an online player, on Arslan’s side, I don’t think he even qualifies as an “underdog”, since noone really knew him in the first place, he just came outta nowhere and became the best. He’s more of an “unknown god” story rather than an underdog

Wait. Arslan Ash was considered the best player in Pakistan before EVO and around Top 5 in 2015(?) Before that he 6-0ed Knee @ a tournament using Claudio, and was Pakistan's best KOF XIII player

@@UltimateBallaPOM He was only known in Pakistan before EVO Japan, which was his major international debut. He was nearly unknown elsewhere, hence the many mentions of it during EVO Japan's commentary. And what do you mean top 5 in 2015? He wasn't a part of the TWT until 2019.

Yeah at the end of the day that really gives credit to Ninjakilla because I have to believe Sonic does acknowledge him as a threat in competition. Even the greatest in the world needs someone to really challenge them where you honestly don't know whose going to win, even if you're Sonic Fox.

People wont understand how good Ninjakilla is until they analyze his matches in slow motion.....i couldn't believe this dude was flawless blocking peoples wake-ups like the CPU on very hard! Everything gets punished, pressure is insane, his only weakness is he goes super defensive when he has the opponent on low health

Ninja is literally the final boss of every videogame created. I still don't know how he does flawless block against pros. High level gameplay. Not only that you're Flawless Blocking Sonicfox, again SONICFOX during these high intensity championship matches. That's insane. If you slip up once with a flawless block you're getting punished severely by Fox. And yet Ninja does it effortlessly. Not only that I don't see Sonicfox flawless blocking at all. Which says a lot about Killa.
