Sebastian's ego couldnt take it tho so he went to Rick's room at night, blamed him for the loss of power and respect him and his mother endured and he shot Rick like 3 times in the chest while he was in his bed. Then Sebastian left and Carl came to Rick's room in the morning to get breakfast together and as he opens the door he sees zombie Rick standing there and without thinking he goes for the headshot (survival reflexes after years of apocalypse) it wasn't until Rick dropped to the floor that Carl realised what happened and that his father was dead... it was heartbreaking
