Not really as a Guardians fan Naylz is way to streaky as a player to say hey he's an all star. If he could just be consistent at the plate I'd agree but he swings and misses a bit too often as of late.

As a lifelong Guardians fan it’s very nice to hear some informed discussion on the team this year. Personally I’d like them to pick up a right handed middle-ish lineup bat, position doesn’t matter to me with how flexible the players on the roster are. I don’t even know if I need them to add a huge piece in the rotation. Though one middle rotation kind of guy would be great. Adding another stud in the bullpen could afford them to potentially make playoff games 5 inning games.

If Cleveland is going to be aggressive go over to Oakland. Grab both Rooker and Blackburn then go to Anaheim and at least inquire about Ward and what it will take. When it comes to Blackburn, it's not a going to be a rental be at least another year or 2 of arbitration for him. And wirh Beiber, who has hinted at wanting to stay we could give him a 2 year deal where he misses most if not all of 25 hes back in 26 and if McKenzie's elbow is that injured then we have Blackburn in his #3-4 role for a couple of years. Were also forgetting Espino is out for the year as well to rotatorcuff surgery. Then Blackburn slides in for McKenzie and Williams for Beiber, then if Cantillo is ready, have him Carrasco and Boyd who just signed compete for the 5th spot in the rotation.

They can be conservative at the trade deadline. If Rocchio/Arias/Schneeman doesn't cut it, they can get Amed Rosario cheap. Rosario can play SS/RF. He is .300 OBP, .700 OPS guy they can use to supplement their 3 headed monster. He seemlessly fits in with the vibe.

As a nats fan, nats padres is not a rivalry when we are getting swept. Maybe we can revisit this in a year or two, especially when we get Wood up and if we get Hassell up.

Also again as a nats fan who has Gore on his fantasy team. Gore probably should’ve been ejected. If this happened the other way around I would’ve been irate.

Wood should already be up. Only reason he isn't is because the Nats want to manipulate his service time. There's no reason to keep him in the minors when the Nats offense is one of the worst in baseball.
