I used to say "your my favorite" to him. I think he liked when i said that. At the time I got worried I was being to forward and overly affectionate toward him. Also got worried he had other women. I really don't think he did. His ex is not a good person they have children together and i think she used the children against him. It's like she wants him to want her. Yet she has been so bad to him and he has talked to me about it. He feels stuck having to be in good ways with her. Then she allows him to have his children on the weekends that are his. When he was happy with me she became terrible. She didn't let him see his kids for over a month during Christmas time. Then she invites him to spend extra time with his kids if he's pays to bring them bowling. Maybe go to the beach. Do things that he used to do with her and the children. Which messes with his heart and mind. I know he's stronger than that and can see through her bullshit. Plus he has a baby with me but who the father is, is questionable. Not to me i know he's the father. I know it will cause huge shit between him and his ex. He's terrified she will take his children away from him.
