I just love and obsess over arts and crafts and try to learn everything about what medias there are. You really helped me grow with my late term diagnosis and become more myself. The new hair color looks great on you! I loved your blonde hair, but the dark hair looks fantastic!

You're amazing Shayda! 👏💞 I can totally identify with your journey! While raising 4 (beautiful) children, in an unhappy marriage, I did every craft you can think of, including making our clothes and furnishings, just to keep me elevated enough for the children's sake. Now that they're off my hands and I live alone, I'm loving the freedom to paint, write material for some books and also poetry. I feel alive when I do that! Note: the biggest credit goes to my God and Spirit team, for always prodding me to paint or write or even taking photos of nature, when I didn't feel like it, and it always lifted my soul when Ilistened! 🙏 I think as a creative I HAD to EXPRESS MYSELF somehow because I couldn't express myself in the physical. Love and Light to you and all who are going through what we went through! 💖🙏

Cheering you along in your "journey" Shayda ... and thoroughly loving "your story" ... and can appreciate how your creativity has been just the therapy that you needed at the time you needed it. As a creative myself, i've been there myself ... it's an ongoing process; it never stops and only gets better over the years, i promise!!! i'm pushing 80 now and still very tuned in on a daily basis. No such thing as silly and mundane m'dear ... (in your heart, i think you have discovered that too) ... you are just pure joy and inspiration! your landscape turned out so beautifully!!! Love it!!! Hi Shayda, thank you SO much for sharing and I can relate!! I, at a young age, unintentionally became a "perfectionist" when it came to my Art!! I wasted SO many years not pursuing some of my goals but especially, my dream of becoming an Art teacher!! Today at 59 years young🤗, I've finally come to a place where I want to try Art again!! I have been able to learn crocheting and knitting, and love these hobbies but, I can't wait to try Art!! I love your tip about trying smaller projects btw!!
