I agree with everything he said, I mean I like what they did with ac mirage and back to the roots but somethings are a bit odd and doesn't feel like next gen ac game

A lot of your criticsms are valid in my opinion. The sound design in ac1 is better for sure, but I still think mirage holds up. And with the chases, you mention it feeling optional and I'm not sure this is the case. they've told us that basim has very low health and might not be able to go against many guards. The parkour in the game is obviously lackluster, but I've chose to dismiss it since parkour was never going to return to what It once was so I'm just happy the setting and environment will facilitate it at least; and on 60fps it should be quite smooth. What you say about the cutscenes is entirely correct, and its mostly due to the nature of the game originally starting off as a DLC with a limited budget. Above all else though, I still think the game will be good. The gameplay and stealth looks fun, and the story looks like something worth playing. My only real gripe is the parkour, but I don't really mind. This is mainly because of ac origins. Ac origins stealth was very barebones with limited tools and equipment and had 0 parkour, but i still enjoyed it. Mirage looks to be a direct improvement on origins, adding more animations, tools and options as a whole which hopefully will build into the ac experience. I want the game to do well so that aspects from this game can be implemented into their upcoming code red game, and potentially make it become an assassin experience instead of a Japanese valhalla clone.

I like playing as a power fantasied skilled warrior. But I also like the assassin feel.
