16:00 it's because Thor wanted to look into the eyes of Thanos and watch him die. He told him at the time of Loki's death that *you'll pay for this*. So he might not wanted Thanos to die so easily.

Not only was this hilarious but you can tell that this was done by people who love the material. Even referencing quotes from the actual comic (when nebula has the gauntlet), references from Infinity war and even the first Iron man (when Stark brings home baby Thanos ). Hell they even threw in the "Deadpool kills Marvel" nod to top it off. This episode made me a fan of HISHE, and I ended up checking out some off their other videos. Damn good stuff.

Thor went for the heart because he wanted Thanos to know who killed him - 'I told you, you'd die for that' - and secondly he didn't go for the arm because it had slipped out of his mind that he has to stop Thanos from snapping, Thor was driven by grief and mad vengeance. Unlike others Thor's only aim was to kill Thanos, not to save the universe. But when Thanos snapped, Thor realised what happened & how he could have saved everyone if he was not too involved in his personal revenge, How he failed in both(in killing Thanos and preventing the snap) "What did you do?" and that's what led to EG Thor.

The hand cutting portal wouldn't have worked because Thanos has the space and reality stone. No portal would have worked against him.

+Rhythm Sharma by that thinking, the heros shouldn't have gotten any offence. Those plot holes were more or less intentional because it would have taken away the drama of the movie.

Actually it would. Thanos would have to decide to use the Space and reality stone in order to stop strange from using it. If Strange could open a portal and cut his hand before that, it would totally work.

Also, Thanos' likely has Hulk level toughness of skin, at least in the MCU canon. Iron had to slam him demolition style to get a single drop of blood. It worked on his henchmen, but likely wouldn't work on Thanos.

I know everyone was mad at Starlord for messing up the plan with the glove on Titan. Partial blame goes to Nebula for me, she could have said anything other than Gamora must be dead. Like she went to get a Brazilian. Or left Quill for Thor.

That's a good point about aiming for the chest- professional soldiers and cops are usually trained to aim for centre of mass, IIRC, because its an easier target to hit, even though a head shot is a more reliable kill.

Great review ... I kind of think Thor went for the chest because his ax was new to him. Kind of like changing wedges in golf ... you go for the middle of the green until you get a feel for it. And great to see Achara back with you Jaby!

Scripts, Clips, Series & Flicks Thor did it that way because thanos also stabbed heimdall in the chest, Thor then said you gonna die for that at the beginningand at the end, he wanted to make Thanos suffer the same way, it was for his best friend and his brother loki his people that he knows for 1500 year's.

Doctor strange cutting Thanos arm off should have been in the movie because for one reason: Thanos could not use the space stone because his gauntlet hand was open by the cloak of levitation. 2nd reason: how would the reality stone protect Thanos from strange if Thor damaged Thanos by his axe!?!

I just watched your video and I would like to add a point to the fight happened in the moon with strange and thanos. I guess the point why strange saw only one timeline as their win because its not about Thanos. The real threat is the power of the gaunlet. After killing Thanos whomever gets the gaunlet might cause more damage on God level without realizing it. Even Tony stark could cause more damage than Thanos. Thanos's damage could be reversed because he focused on removing souls from universe so anyone could bring the souls back. Only in this timeline Thanos destroyed the original stones so that no one could use it.

My big issue with Thor and the whole "you should have aimed for the head" bit was that the frickin' Infinity Gauntlet, the thing that controls the entire universe couldn't stop his hammer? His new hammer was just a slightly beefed up version of the old one which Hela shattered immediately and that guy from The Dark World swatted around like a fly

When Thor didn't aim for the head or arm, I always thought of it as he is blinded by his desire for revenge. Thanos killed Loki, Heimdall, and half of his people, so Thor will want to kill Thanos, not just stop him by cutting off his arm. And if Thor took his revenge on Thanos, he would probably want Thanos to suffer as much as possible for killing the only two people left that he cared for plus half of his people, hence aiming for the chest, as it is a longer and more painful death than the head.

“Why didn’t he go for the chest?” I can answer that! The chest- well, with us humans is where the heart is, you can instantly kill by aiming a bullet and getting the heart so... Like the head an instant kill location but I guess since Thanos is an alien or not a ‘human’ his body works differently and is maybe designed differently so, it doesn’t work in his class...? I guess the problem with sone stuff in movies/ tv shows is there are often loop holes out of situations the writer(s) have to ignore to get the story to go ‘their’ way without getting thing too or overly complicated....

The sing ring thing would have worked but thanks is so powerful that he could kill half of the universe by himself. Comic thanos is legit almost a god. This is because he is a titan, a super species centuries ahead of human power. Like when humans threw stones, thanks had a 50 cal. Anyway, his power extend further as he was a 0.1%ter. Basically he was more powerful than any other titan at birth because of a mutation in his dna. Add that to his already immense power set from being barney's cousin twice removed gave him powers rivalling Thor, but not odin nor hell so thats why he waited.But once they were gone, he had free reign as most powerful being that wasn't actually a god. But clearing out a universe takes time so he hatched a plan in the background to get all the stones but underestimated the force of good in the world so he did it himself.
