Chad and Jolene are very humble and down to earth, good honest and hard working people who have made their mark in the industry. They unselfishly give their knowledge, the good, bad and ugly to others, and are not struck on themselves like so many others in their profession. They really do deserve all the success that comes their way.

Been watching Chad for years…..Chad is very talented…..he amazes me with his ways to get it done……I’ve seen Chad make a 1/4 panel for a 65-66 full size Ford…..I thought that was talent…..then I started watching everyday…..I’m 64 and I learn stuff from Chad everyday. I’m a backyard mechanic body guy……it takes me 2-3 years to get a car or truck done…..I do everything at my house….can’t afford to send anything out…..Chad has shown me some very cool short cuts and ways to go about it……Chad is a true artist…..Thank you Chad and Queen Jolene…… Jolene is great on the camera and super easy on the eyes ! They make a great team !

Great sharing of your journey. There's a saying "God will help those who help themselves". That doesn't mean he's going to show up and pick up a sanding block, but he'll send someone alone who's willing to do that. When I stopped living my life to please others and started living for me, my life also turned. Like you I had a lot of low paying crappy jobs but each new job was just a little better than the last. What I have in life I earned. Believe in yourself Aiden, and so will the world. Men and women like Chad and Jolene don't flatter people, they tell them the truth, and if that truth is that you are a good person, that is the reward of a life well lived. No matter how well you do in life, always remember the humble beginnings.

I just wanted to say I started out warehousing, delivering, and janitorial for the same company. I will say I hand vacuumed the entire warehouse myself, the owner gave me cudo's and it felt real good he noticed. Then I pushed harder and washed and cleaned the delivery truck back to new.He noticed again. Then I was in the bathroom and just got sone scrubbing the toilets.I say down to do what we all do and comes in right after me,and says Jon is that you and I said yes of course so he says these are the cleanest toilets I have ever seen. Bottom line I quit for more money and didnt like what I was doing so they took me back and trained me as a serviceman. It goes on and on and when I left again for more cash I realized the next day I screwed up. So I ended up at Eastman Kodak in rochester,ny. That was my dream all along to get in on an important team. Film died but now I had experience so I could pretty much go anywhere.

Times are tough today! I remember working 18-20 hrs a day, 7 days a week for a couple decades! But I loved building/restoring stuff, even when it was for someone else. I loved making $ it was never about that. I was lucky to be able to retire way early in 2010. But watching Chad's videos , I might have to come out of retirement for another build or two. Lol Man, you have definately motorvated me! 👍

Brilliant motivational episode. When I started work, some 49 years ago, I had a guy not too dissimilar to Chad sitting me down like this. The guy gave me a very, very similar talk, just like this. I did take notice of him & I've had an amazing career working in mechanical engineering. Won't bore you with all the details, suffice to say Chad is spot on with his advice. I'm coming to the end of my career shortly after working for the same company I started in June 1974 & I've never looked back! When I hang up my tools early next year, I'll be the longest serving employee of 50 years & I've enjoyed every single year of it! So, be loyal, be creative, stand out & don't follow the sheep!

Chad's topic about 'hard work' is very true! Regardless of the format or platform of the work he does he works very hard. I apologize for fussing about the car projects being on a time limit. People always want to see everything happen fast with quick results...this is what causes time constraints. People have short attention spans and impatient impulses..subsequently this forces Chad to move onto new projects without every single time consuming phase being recorded. He busts his back and works his butt off to teach us everything he knows...this benefits us. Thank you Chad and Jolene ❤.

I had a very similar experience. The car I own which you can see in my profile picture is a 2005 Subaru Outback 30R. I had a vision when I bought the car was to lower it and change the driveline and suspension. Every time I went to a show I got told I was wasting my time, Your wasting your money. Those negative comments just fuel my creative side and I kept pushing the limits of the art and vision I had for the car. At the cars final evolution It ended up on air ride suspensions a fully worked flat 6 motor had 2 magazine features (Speedhunters being one) and 8 trophy's. Chad your knowledge and educations you a forwarding to Aden is 100% right. My story isn't as big as yours but you need to be a individual in this form of art.

Recently learning a lot about Gord Lightfoot, whose incredible work ethic is what saved his life a few times... ...he & Chad share the same love-of-life for what they do. That's the irrepressible inner-child's thirst for life & value generation in action! That's where our genius lies, & we all know there's no such thing as a lazy six-yr old. "Adulthood" is a scam...lol Gord said to Anne Murray once, "We're supposed to keep going until the end, aren't we Anne?", honestly puzzled over how she could quit the bizz that was evrything to him & his peers at only 64... 🏹🧡 from Hali...
