Bol Bol is a oversized point forward who has no vision with a kd body type without the crazy shot making, so when you have a player who needs the ball to make a impact but isn't a offensive engine plus a defensive liability all you get is a end of bench player.

You forgot to mention what I think might be his biggest weakness. He has ZERO court vision. He averages less Assist per minute than any player in the NBA. He will go GAMES without registering a single assist. In today's NBA Bigs are expected to be able to locate and pass the ball to the open shooter. With Bol the defense KNOWS if he gets the ball and dribbles it once he is 100% going to shoot the ball so he's very easy to defend.

Bol going to the Magic was the best thing for him. Nuggets and Suns are in playoff mode. They aren't prioritizing developing younger players, they want to win now, so Bol being on those teams will not help him improve. But when he was on a then-rebuilding Magic team, he finally had a chance to develop and get minutes. But when a rebuilding team like the Magic don't want you, that raises red flags about Bol himself. What is he doing that is preventing him from realizing his potential? We can't blame the coaches anymore, Magic gave him the opportunity he was looking for but he couldn't keep it going.

Denver is actively developing the hell out of two younger players in Peyton Watson and Christian Braun, who are both killing it btw, so I don’t buy that. I think we are not seeing Bol in the games right now because they are preparing him to be a center, as he doesn't add much value as a guard style player. Bol was a cancer on the Denver Nuggets. Every time he got minutes we’d start losing. He had a huge fan base of casuals who sincerely thought he had potential to be a superstar. It was hard to trade him because no team wanted him. The Nuggets had to package him with another player. Him being drafted in the 2nd round makes sense. His max potential is being a back up center for a bottom feeder team that needs a fan favorite to get a higher attendance and sell more jersey’s.

@denzelminimo1883 i love seeing players graduate. Even with the extra tutoring, attention, perks, & healthcare, some athletes get - graduating is a huge accomplishment. Unfortunately(imo), i think the days of most players in basketball/football staying to become 4yr players at one school will become a rarity with the new transfer portal rules. Kinda seems like if a 4or5* rated recruit gets redshirted his freshman year - transfers. Best player on a mid-major one season - transfer to power5(now more like power2). I'm not tellin you anything u dont already know. You obviously gotta pretty good grasp on what's happening on the ncaa landscape. But still: nil, conference realignment, transfer portal - it is the era of player empowerment. But it's also kinda the wild wild west where only the strong survive & just get stronger, while the rest either fold or struggle to survive.

@ThouArtOfWar0724 I'm just going off of his history so far in the nba, the actions that he has taken and what other people said about him. And if you actually followed his career in real time it's easy to see. If he had average nba iq he would be getting more minutes. He was a minus 16 in the 4 minutes he played with the sun's the other night. How can you be a negative defender and a bad rebounder at 7'4? And he already had years (since 2019) to improve and yet he isn't even capable of breaking the rotation even when given the opportunity to play and show what he can do.

Id like to see the Pacers pick him up because if any coach can fix him its Rick and if any player can maximize his potential its Haliburton. Indiana could do worse to shore up their defense and rebounding for the cost than give him a shot. Jalen Smith Obi Toppin and Aaron Nesmith have all had their careers saved by being acquired by the Pacers and Bol is only one class behind them.

Zion cold of used that more discipline that is a fact because he don't have any with his eating and workouts etc. etc. he both BOL and Zion would be coming into the NBA a hell of a lot stronger , more Basket ball IQ , able to work in a team enjoinment . more humble . because you aint the #1 when you are a rookie in the NBA .

I wish his dad was around to give him some motivation because he just seems lost out there and doesn't really seem like he wants to be out there, even playing alongside his idle(K.D.)one would think he'd rise to the occasion, but no it's over for Bol!!!
