About SpiceJet (from Wikipedia):
SpiceJet is an Indian low-cost airline headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana. As of November 2023, it is the fourth largest airline in India by number of domestic passengers carried, with a market share of 6.2% and connects 73 destinations, including 60 Indian and 13 international from its bases at Delhi and Hyderabad.
Established as air taxi provider ModiLuft in 1994, the company was acquired by Indian entrepreneur Ajay Singh in 2004 and renamed to SpiceJet. The airline operated its first flight in May 2005. Indian media baron Kalanidhi Maran acquired a controlling stake in SpiceJet in June 2010 through Sun Group which was sold back to Ajay Singh in January 2015. The airline operates a fleet of Boeing 737 and Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft.
About the De Havilland Canada Dash 8 (from Wikipedia):
The De Havilland Canada DHC-8, commonly known as the Dash 8, is a series of turboprop-powered regional airliners, introduced by de Havilland Canada (DHC) in 1984. DHC was bought by Boeing in 1986, then by Bombardier in 1992, then by Longview Aviation Capital in 2019; Longview revived the De Havilland Canada brand. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW150s, it was developed from the Dash 7 with improved cruise performance and lower operational costs, but without STOL performance. The Dash 8 was offered in three sizes.

I'm from North india, specifically Jaipur. And I can understand the close-mindedness of the people around here. They'll say all sorts of things about other people, whether it be south Indians, or Chinese, or other foreigners, without ever meeting them in real life. South India is a gem and your trip will be incomplete if you missed exploring the South. Don't hesitate a single bit and book your travel if you want to visit. South India is a peaceful region. People are polite and courteous. Try visiting kerala, bangalore, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry etc. You will not be disappointed

Visit South India in your next trip to India it is ranked much safer and gets foreign tourists due to it’s nature, Rich culture and South Indian food. I recommend you to visit these places in South India - Chennai Marina Beach( Largest Urban beach in Asia) , Pondy Bazaar market ,Mahabalipuram monuments, Puduchery ,Ooty-Masinagudi death road and mudhumalai tiger reserve safari. 13 arch bridge which is longer the one in Sri Lanka located in Sengottai-punalur railway track . Thanjavur Brihadeeswara temple and maratha palace, Pichavaram Boating in mangrove forest , Hogenakkal parisal boating,Dhanushkodi old harbour and dhanushkodi point(Arichal Munai), Theri kadu which is a red sand desert kinda place , ripple adventure munnar and tea estates of munnar Alapuzha boat house . Madurai Meenakshi temple and Nayakar palace .Bengaluru’s Garden and markets Poombarai and Guna caves in Kodaikanal , Varkala Beach , Boat House in Allepey , Kochi , Hampi and Hyderabad. Do visit South and all the things you have heard bad about south is false but in reality it’s the opposite.

Hey man, I'm Indian-American, and my family is from South India, and I go there quite often. Therefore, I can offer both a Western and Indian perspective on your question regarding safety in South India. I can confidently say that South India is no more dangerous than the north, and in some cases, even safer. Obviously, you still want to keep your wits about you, but the large cities in South India are quite cosmopolitan. To suggest the South is more dangerous is factually false. I think you will have a wonderful time in South India if you go, and I'm happy to answer any direct questions you may have or point you in the right direction regarding recommendations. Love your videos (and humor), and I agree, SpiceJet is garbaggio. Also, the correct pronounciation is "Jay-puur"

@@theRealJohnnyG. if you only go to one place in the South, I recommend Kerala. I personally haven't been, but I would also say that's probably the safest part of India and there's so much to see and do there. Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore are also great cities to see, and if you have time Mysore is also a great place.

Hey Johnny for anyone to experience India the pleasant way, one should land in the South say Cochin or Bangalore and enjoy the soft natured people and culture before hitting the North before travelling via Mumbai

Don't worry about what others think on their comments. You're stating your own opinion about your own experience....not other people's experiences. That's what they don't understand and they get salty or disagreeing with what you think because they either had a different experience or they feel offended. This is the problem with the social media. Whatever people do in the videos and posted it, it stirs people's feelings and emotions. What I do I just watch then think behind the scene. So yeah, just ignore what others say if you find a negative comment just ignore it. These people don't realise you're making your own opinion about the airline and if the people disagree with you, let them disagree. Or you states in the video "feel free to f*** off". You're so right about that. If they don't like it, they just should stop watching the video. Common sense, right?? People just don't think. 😑

South?! Dangerous?! Hostile to tourists?! Absolute bullshit. Do travel south, it is going to be an amazing experience. Kerala and Tamil Nadu are both highly recommended. Hill-stations in Karnataka too!

South India is safest compared to North India. You would never hear bad incidents from South. Karnataka,Tamil Nadu and Kerala is must if you like temples, nature and beaches.

Trust me as an Indian Both North And South India are beautiful. This non sense Narrative that South is Better North is Better South is Unsafe North is Unsafe...bla bla etc are mostly made by POLITICAL POLARIZED people espicially since its Election year ( Honestly It sucks as suddenly within a Year the Negativity, Rough Statements etc spread and Made by Political parties skyrockets during Election year) They the Political People ( Dosen't matter if they are Rightwing/Conservative fellows or Leftwing/Liberals ) will do anything to Polarize and Consolidate their Voter base by either Appeasing them or Labelling anyother group . For example as Soon as the election year started Parties dominant in South Started labelling all of Northern India as Uneducated, Uncivilized bla bla etc. Similarly Parties dominant in Northern India started Labelling all the Southern states as Terrorist Sympathizers / Racist/ Anti National bla bla etc. SO SIMPLE DONT BELEIVE OR FOLLOW SUCH NARRATIVES. THEY ARE USUALLY MADE BECAUSE OF POLITICAL RIVALRY. Hope you Had Good time with People of India. (Also Don't go to those Street Hawkers, Barbers unless you really want to try them. There are many more Affordable good Places to do the job😅 )

Thank you for the insight, makes sense! I think in every democracy there are forces which try to push in directions of hate and less freedom. But, as you said, the only thing we can do is to not believe / follow these narratives. Nevertheless, I had a fantastic time in India and I will visit again, maybe even this year if possible. We just wanted to try out the street shops because we were curious, hahaha. Was a bit doubtful in the beginning, but everything went fine. Thanks for watching! 🙏
