☠TIRED OF STRUGGLING TO SING HIGH? You should try singing drunk 🥁 No, for real: are you stuck in one specific note of your vocal range and unable to increase it? Scared of your voice cracking in the most important note? This all ends today. Stop driving yourself crazy with even more confusing and subjective singing instruction (lah lah lah lah lip trills 😐) because a SCIENTIFIC framework for singing exists - and it will have you singing all your favorite songs, without lowering their key, in a matter of HOURS. Yep, it's that insane. Just visit www.CrazySinging.com

It’s honestly sad that people laughed at it. If he had learned at least how to support his voice with his diaphragm, I can’t imagine how great he would have sounded and his voice would have been so much healthier. He risked getting issues that could have ended his career, like vocal chord polyps. I get it-I always felt like a total dork doing vocal exercises that sound ridiculous. If anyone laughed at me at the time, I might have blown it off, too.

I think Kurt’s voice ( bad technique or not) was exactly what made his songs so memorable and real! When he screamed, you felt it in your soul! He wasn’t just singing. He was exorcising the hell he was living. This authentic and raw emotion is what makes music so powerful! One of the most beautiful examples of this was the last few bars of “where did you sleep last night?” When the camera pans to his face and you see it contorted in pain and fury, man it gave me friggin goose bumps! It’s still does when I see it! Sure it wasn’t his song but, you know he was -truly- meaning those words. I will forever miss him and Nirvana and am incredibly great full that I was a 16 year old that had my own struggles and that their music soothed my confusion and teen anxiety! ❤👍

All these guys in the 90’s were real trail blazers. They just did it! Struggled but eventually overcame and did their thing in a more safe way eventually… through trial and error. I learned the same way… you have to throw caution to the wind in most cases to be able to learn how to do aggressive vocals. There’s a LOT of info on how to do those aggressive vocals in a more safe way… but even 10 years ago the info was so scarce… honestly all the exercises didn’t really work for me… I had to push through some pain and struggle in order to get the sound I want. Honestly I still don’t believe that there exists a perfect exercise that will get you to sound the way you like to sound. I think emotion plays a huge role in learning these techniques. It’s not by doing just doing the scales you learn… I know it may work for some but it never did for me

@@Jonathan-A.C. just saying you should learn how to support your voice with your diaphragm. Many singers sing with their throat, leading to issues. Should never “push” your voice until you learn proper vocal mechanics. Can permanently damage your voice, or learn bad habits and damage your voice in the future, developing nodes and such. Should never feel any pain when you’re singing, evidence you’re doing something wrong. There are ways and techniques that can help you “scream” or put gravel in your voice without any damage. Everyone has a different instrument, but the vocal cords are relatively delicate. Even trained and professional singers continue with vocal training throughout their respective careers, and can strain their voices with improper technique and over usage.

@@andyscott5277 I’m not saying to not do it in the “proper” way, I more mean in terms of pushing it harder, pushing notes for longer, or dipping into other harsh vocals somewhat. Like obviously there’s a lot of important technique, but a lot comes to effort, focus, and and energy.
@andyscott5277
@andyscott5277 2 жыл бұрын
@@Jonathan-A.C. yeah, I just wouldn’t push anything without a proper foundation of singing technique. Like any instrument, most people don’t just know how to sing with proper technique. The voice is a muscle. If you’re singing, or say “working out,” metaphorically speaking, and you don’t have proper lifting technique, throwing on a bunch of weight, you’ll probably hurt yourself. All this to say, It’s not too difficult to permanently destroy your voice by screaming. Look at what happened to Harry Nilsson. One of the best singers in the history of rock ‘n roll. Had a “screaming match” with John Lennon and his voice was never the same again.

That went on for almost two years. His heroin use began when he broke up with his first longterm girlfriend and he would go to hotels to nod out. Again, his poverty prevented him from ever having a habit. This was 1990 and 1991. Once he signed a record deal he was off to the races. People talk about kurt as if he was a junkie his whole life. I get he was poor and heroin is expensive in excess, but sounds like he was doing enough of it. I also heard grohl say they never had much food.... That's probably where most of their grocery funds went to?? Buying a little at a time, heroin can be pretty affordable right? I think it's supposed to be the cheapest drug, hence why it's one of the most problematic drugs. I certainly don't think Kurt was doing anywhere near the amounts he did once famous, but I find it hard to believe he wasn't doing at least small amounts pre-fame. I know a lot of people say he only got into heroin real bad after he met Courtney, but even more (especially interviews of his close friends) seem to imply the opposite.

@@jennmullins1063 People say so much inaccurate s about kurt and nirvana even though the facts are out there. For example, there’s a lot of white adolescent (in age or mind) males that go on misogynistic tirades about courtney that is literally just the most negative things you can say about someone. And untrue. My sources are simple and reliable. “Heavier Than Heaven” is by far the best book written on kurt based on extensive research and hundreds of interviews including members of Kurt’s family and Krist. By all accounts Kurt got clean when he moved to Olympia around age 20. Again, he wasn’t doing heroin either in his teens, it was mostly psychedelics, uppers, alcohol, pot, and whatever would come his way. In Kurt’s own journals he said he did heroin about five times back in Aberdeen. He had a very close relationship with his girlfriend and they were sober together. Over about two or three years he only got high once when he shared drinks with his sister. This was his golden period as an artist. He read a lot of books, and produced more paintings and wrote more songs during this period than any other time. He had a lot of weird hobbies like keeping strange pets like turtles and decorating dolls. He also was practicing his guitar all the time. Ive also read interviews with dave about kurt and in the npr interview he even said he never saw kurt use when he lived with him. They were poor and starving together. Kurt took a long break from drugs. That’s how he was able to blossom as a musician and write all those great songs. Most of the songs on Bleach, Nevermind,Incestiside, and In Utero were all written in a two year period. Things changed when two things happened: broke up with his longtime girlfriend, signed a record deal with geffen, released nevermind. Then theres stories of him selling his pets, of him no longer wanting to rehearse the band, of going to hotels to nod out. I used to believe in the drug and music myth as a child but what I found out without exception is every great musician , even the ones with the worst drug reputation, always have a stable period of their life where they are practicing and creating ten hours a day for years and are sober. Drugs kill creativity and stunt personal growth. After kurt got enough money to be on heroin, he only wrote a few songs in three years instead of like 100 songs. He killed himself afterall. Heroin is also not a cheap drug. Any heroin user has no control over their habit which only grows because what got you high yesterday gets you less high today so its always a game of using more and more. Perhaps the first two or three months heroin is inexpensive but after that any junkie is spending thousands a month. Hence stealing and dealing. Most heroin dealers you’ll find are just users who had to sell out of necessity to fund their habit. I get the rock and roll myth, that people want their rock stars to be party animals, but the problem is you cant party and excel as an artist at the same time. They don’t go together. Often if a musician is known for partying its something they did in stages. For three years they were a hard working disciplined musician practicing ten hours a day and clean, then they stop practicing and focus on partying and they deteriorate.

Amazing analysis my friend!!...You are the exactly right person to analyze to this guy....In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just It was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coach, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 and 5 years have passed since then, but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you...You have to be prepared because you ar going to receive an avalanche of views, comments and new subscribers....I leave you one more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mKqIZqmZ0t-ykZc.html

This was one BRIEF period of time that Kurt was blowing out his voice and coughing up blood. It had to do with his ulcer caused by a pinched nerve in his stomach, which was caused by scoliosis. Once that was fixed, the "issue" was far less of an issue. For instance, Cobain recorded all of the vocals for In Utero, save for a song and some overdubs, in one day. Dave Grohl has been low key throwing shade on Cobain's skill as a songwriter, musician and singer for years and it's all due to seething jealousy that he's had for Kurt since the start of 1992. As rich and successful as he is, he still hasn't let go of it. Because he knows it's bullshit. He knows that no matter how many #1's he has, how many stadiums he fills, how many Grammy's he wins, he'll never write anything as artistically or culturally relevant as Kurt Cobain did.

It is a bit of an exaggeration given interviews with other producers he worked with, but Kurt would sometimes blow out his voice because he put a lot into his vocals for recordings. @@CrazySinging Coughing up blood isn't a throat injury, that's a respiratory issue; the blood is coming from his lungs when he coughs, not from his throat. It could be smoking too much, breathing irritants like heavy fumes or particulates, an infection, lung cancer, etc., but not destroying his throat by overdoing it. If he coughed up blood, you can be sure it's an issue with his lungs. At a concert, the lead singer obviously pushes a lot of air, way more than normal, which is obviously the job of the lungs, not the throat. His little irritated, overworked lungs. That being said, I agree that you can get a sore throat from screaming into a mic for hours and hours. I'm sure you can even damage your vocal cords by overdoing it.
