Arkansas game him the best advice with remember when you were in the National Championship conversation. Hogs know what people not delusional do...Georgia's gonna beat Bama in Atlanta and knock them out the playoffs. That loss yesterday was bigger than alot of Bama fans realize. They gotta rely on other teams to lose now if they want any hope because they still have to see Georgia and the team I saw yesterday doesn't stand a chance against the Dawgs. Georgia is likely going undefeated.

Bama didn't get whooped in every phase. But yes they did lose the game. The defense has struggled all year and can't seem to stop the opponent. Pete Golding is a HUGE reason the defense doesn't play well. When Kirby Smart and Jeremy Pruitt were the defensive coordinators the Bama defense was elite. Since, Pete Golding has been the defensive coordinator the defense is not very good because Pete Golding can't coach and teach the players how to tackle, how to get off the field on 3rd downs, how to get in the correct positions to make plays, how to create turnovers, etc. Until Golding is fired from Bama, the defense will not be elite and will continue to suffer the consequences of his poor coaching.

I said im a tide man since Bear Bryant so I know Alabama football they got beat in all phases of the game. If Saban's says he worries about the little things so do I.

I expect the SEC championship will still be Bama from the West. But the new rankings are WTF? Jimbo pulls of what has seemed impossible amongst former assistant coaches.. and they are ranked 21? I know they are a two loss team, but so is Auburn. And then we have schools in the rankings like San Diego State that don't play anybody. Half the Sun Belt could qualify for the top 25 based on a comparable Strength of Schedule... but that seems meaningless this year. Even with this loss, Bama is still better than everyone now ranked above them except this year's Georgia team - and that could go either way on any given Saturday.

It took everything possible for Bama to lose. Had they not given up that Kick return for TD, they win by at least 2 TDS after playing a horrendous game. I’m not an Alabama fan, but I think Saban was right. He basically said these guys are spoiled with winning. Sometimes you have to lose one to be reminded of what it’s like to lose. I’ll say what shocked me more than anything was how horrendous the db’s and dline played. A&M wrs were wide open and you could’ve driven a truck through the holes that the oline opened. Bama defense made backup QB look like John Elway and the vaunted Bama defense didn’t get a single sack on the Aggie QB, I don’t even know his name, Zach something. Tho I did see multiple holds against the Bama dline that went uncalled. With that said, Bama deserved to lose with how horrible they played.

But why? The weird thing about y’all is y’all have the talent since Kirby hell even before Kirby but for some reason y’all haven’t won a championship since Herschel Walker!! We are 0-6 in the Sweet 16 and 2-12 in the College Baseball world series. Let me summarize. Texas A&M has the resources of Ohio State, the fan passion of LSU (Saban himself has praised the atmosphere at Kyle Field and has said that's how Bryant-Denny Should be), and the facilities and talent of any Top tier team. Hell, funny historic fact: Clemson basically modeled themselves after us. They used to be called Clemson A&M. Not to mention the Aggie network spans across the globe through the military, Agribusiness, oil/gas, nuclear, veterinary, and engineering industries. Oh and to top that all off, we actually sent more men to fight in WWII than West Point or Annapolis did. ....we have the actual on field success of Northwestern. Not a single title in either football, basketball, or baseball since 1939. That kind of underachieving can only be dealt with by increasingly impossible-to-understand traditions. They say A&M is a cult....well, we don't deny it. From the outside looking in, you can't understand it. From the inside looking out, you can't explain it.

Agree. This is football, not politics. Most Alabama fans I've seen have manned up and called it straight - they got beat. There will always be a few that whine and come up with excuses but that's beneath them. And talking about dynasties being made or broken after one football game is absurd. Face it, A&M played better than Alabama last Saturday. So what's for supper? But, I will say, as an Aggie, that I was extremely proud of the Aggies on the field and the Aggies in the stands. Aggies don't quit, regardless of the score. And that applies to life as well as football.

Now after the Georgia defense bullies that turnstile Bama calls an offensive line and beats Bama in Atlanta, Bama’s season will be over.

Exactly and to be honest, we actually lose just slightly less than other top teams like Ohio State, etc. I mean people sometimes forget we are usually 12-1 when we win NC most times. 2011 LSU loss, 2012 TAMU loss, 2015 Ole Miss, 2017 Auburn ... still won the NC. Few other years we lost 2 games like 2019 (LSU and Auburn) 2010 (South Carolina & Auburn). Point is the SEC is a gauntlet!...and...Alabama does lose, but most of the time it means nothing, since we lose so infrequently. RTR!

That was me watching my team *almost* beat Notre Dame. Their coach was all over the refs the entire game, but he simply outcoached Fuente. At least the Dawg at my house had a good day twice over. I've born witness to many a heartbreak over Bama in the last few years.

The offensive line couldn't protect Young period. Texas has the perfect game plan and executed it flawlessly. If we can't protect our quarterback against a stout defense we are gonna have more problems down the road . But you know, you can't win every game. Im proud of the Tide and maybe this will motivate the players to play a full 60 min game. They sure wasn't there the first half

I counted EIGHT dropped passes, and a few of them were on the drives late in the game and made us have to settle for field goals. Offense put points on the board, but the defense couldn't get the stop when we needed it.

Dawg fan here... and I didn't expect any commentary about them this week. They look good all the way 'round. I'm expecting to see them get a turn at Bama at the end of the season. As much as I hoped for Kirby to be the first protege to get the W, happy for Fisher. It was an exciting game.

Dan, you nailed it. I'm a Bama fan but our offensive and defensive coaches were an embarrassment. Our boys were not prepared, the play calling was an embarrassment, and overall we were outplayed and outcoached. I have great confidence in Nick, but hiring these clowns as coaches was one of his very few failures.

Yeah, our defense didn't adjust to being without Malachi until after, and even then it was a weak point that was exploited. Such a stupid penalty to commit.

Branch is a beast he played great last year we honestly lost due to metchie late drop where instead of fighting threw contact he threw his arms in the air and lost his focus and dropped it. The little things

And Moore wasn’t even targeting. Then at the end of the game on a very obvious targeting call when we knocked the guy’s helmet clean off, nothing. So bump into a qb, and you’re out, but nail a guy that is wrapped up by three defenders, and that’s fine?🤷🏻‍♂️

@@racingfuel28 100% agree. They need to adjust the targeting qualifications to be more consistent with the rules. I feel a lot of the targeting calls are just subjective as to whether or not the refs feel it was targeting versus actually being targeting. Bama also just played horribly on both sides of the ball. There was blown coverage, lack of physicality on the D-line to put pressure on QB, missed tackles, dropped passes, overthrown balls, and so much more. Bama seems to have about one of these games each year and it ends up helping them in the long run. We still control our destiny from here on out though. RTR

@@MoneyMager exactly i wouldn't be surprised if the defense gave up 400 passing yards next week to miss st we should win that one but honestly with us only moving down to 5 im not sure the message we needed was fully sent this loss officially means nothing because we are right outside the top 4 we should be no higher than 10th after losing to an unranked (although very good) a&m team. I think we could very easily lose to Arkansas because they have a qb which fits all the bills that give an alabama defense trouble. Well be fine in a year or two but this year the writing was on the wall after Florida and it finally caught up to us and even if we win out we will be disposed of quickly by Georgia. This game had complacency written all over it and coach Saban's Thursday radio show hinted at what possibly would happen and it did. I'm not sold on pete Golding as a DC a position coach maybe but he called so many plays that put the players in such bad position did the targeting call hurt yes but ultimately when you call plays and your defense trips each other up like alabama did thsts not smart. I'm not totally ready to panic especially not for the offense yes the blocking was inconsistent bryce wasn't at his best but still had a solid day with 1 real bad mistake the receivers and tight ends had a few dropped passes but overall we ran ok and still passed for over 300 yards but the defense is where they need to go back to the drawing board. Pete and Saban made some good adjustments for the 2nd half till the last 3 minutes then the defense returned to first half form. If they get the defense fixed then they should win out if not well there is a very small chance we lose to miss st even higher chance for Arkansas and a chance for auburn to beat us but I'm a fan no matter how many times we lose or win and in the long run well be fine either way.
