@@Jamessmith-xk3fh bama isn’t playing bad. the playing field is just way more even now with the whole nil thing. everyone found out how true that is this week. auburn struggled. wisconsin lost to wash st. a&m lost to app st. pitt gave tennessee a hell of a game. kentucky beat florida… etc etc.. football is different now. bama isn’t getting all of the crazy recruits like they used… it’s a new era of cfb and i love it

As a texas fan it’s been a rough 12 years and all I can say is Bryce my guy got ice in his veins never panicked not one time everytime they showed his face he was cool and collected gah what a game still proud of texas for almost doing what nobody thought would happen yes bama played absolute garbage for 3 quarters and we still couldn’t do anything so bama legit (again) but man so close gg no hate all love from this horns fan congrats 🤘🏻🤘🏻 go horns (Edit I live in bama sooo it’s hard out here 😂)

Well, you also have to actually show up and play like you give a damn. App State came in playing like they wanted to win. My guys (A&M)....didn't. And with how they played they didn't deserve to win, either. I hope this wakes them and the coaches the hell up. It's a tough loss and this is a crossroads. They can either take all the (deserved) mockery and use that to fuel their fire for the rest of the season or they can just keep doing what they did this week and be lucky to get even 6 wins.

FunnyMaine, your shotgun on 4th and inches analogy was felt by all of us who played/coached the game. When the game is on the line, the coach puts the ball in his best player's hands, anyway. I just don't know how much success Alabama can have with these two coordinators. On the other hand, those first two series Sark called were a thing of beauty. It shows a stark contrast between a great play caller and someone who has a track record of failure and disappointment .

I'm not trash talking anyone today. Gotta give props to UK & Ark, both teams looked good & had good wins. As a UGA representative I'll openly admit we didn't play great at all on offense (regardless of final score we played a sloppy game). But all us Dawg fans watching ALL OF CFB like 👀 👀 👀 "what the hell is going on EVERYWHERE this weekend"?? Wild ass weekend. ***Ok I said I'm not trashing anyone, but can't let this one go; A&M/Jimbo Fisher... Ya'll paying this man as much as Saban and MORE than Kirby Smart & Dabo Sweeney (who've won Natty's), more than Lincoln Riley (who's won multiple HUGE games & at least been to the playoffs); Jimbo has won a total of ONE legit huge game & ZERO SEC or divsion titles since he's been at A&M. And A&M straight up bought the highest rated #1 class in CFB HISTORY... and they lose to App State!!! Jimbo can't even pick a QB right now. A&M is (or should be) a top teir program, they're BY FAR THE RICHEST PROGRAM... Big Oil money is delivered there in dump trucks daily!!! I feel horrible for this girl I just love because she's an A&M fan (maybe an alum), and the Aggies are pitiful right now. Obviously all the money & players in the world can't make Jimbo Fisher a Saban, Smart or Sweeney 💯 How many years now has he been there now??? I think it's obvious ole Jimbo AIN'T THAT GUY!!!

I say this as a Bama fan, if the way last year ended wasn't motivation enough, than I don't know what is. This is a continuation of things from last year. There's only so much a coach can do, either the players buy in and catch on ..or they don't. It would be different if we were talking about one area of the team, but it's the entire team. That's a reflection of something or anything going on on the sidelines.

Make sure you park fairly close to the stadium because walking to and from the stadium can be a struggle. It’s worth the extra money to park closer.

I recommend taking the shuttle. I guess they still have one from somewhere. I used to catch it from the mall. If the website I found is current, it is $15. Some other shuttles run from downtown or various areas on campus, but I preferred finding for sure parking at the mall.

What a crazy day of college football scores. Got a NE fan in the family so seeing that end score had me dumbfounded. I know it's Nebraska but it shouldn't have been like this. It's Georgia Southern come on. Losing by one possession is just their thing now. But hey Frost is out of there now so we'll see! I only had watched the end tied-game field goal miss. That was rough. Can't believe 92 missed that.

I'm an Aggie and was rooting for Bama to win but...Texas got robbed by the refs taking that safety off the board and since the game was a one-point win.....I'm just saying. At least FunnyMaine acknowledges that bizarre call. All the major sports media keep pretending that didn't happen.

@@Pseudowolf BS. He was not down when he threw the ball, it was NOT a safety, plain and simple. And why not mention the fact that those same refs called roughing the passer on Alabama when it was clearly not, and allowed Texas to hold all day… Spare me that nonsense.

Blown call on the safety. Play clock at 0, no whistle. Short of the 1st by 2 yards, they moved the chains. Texas won that game and the refs stole it. You refusing to acknowledge that doesn't change it.

Alabama might have managed to win but they showed that they are beatable, and the thought of Saban nearly losing to an un ranked Texas while Texas had their starting Qb injured and their backup was playing while injured will make me smile

Tbh with you a lot of reasons go into why it was so close like how Texas isn’t a bad team or that it was 120 degrees out there but all together it’s football shit happens no matter how good you are ur still not unbeatable it’s why I’m happy the new College football playoffs is coming soon

I always thought it was harder to play against a backup QB, zero/few game footage you would ofnstudied for any tendencies, etc...
