I heard someone suggest that barry should be able to see through water. I think that would be a great way to protect it from deinos in the water without a potentially buggy and OP mechanic.

honestly, bary not being on the immediate roadmap when it's just perfect for gateway and filling the in between spot that beipi and deino have is really weird... I hope something changes in the rloadmap as we need a semi-aquatic that isn't fodder for 90% of the roster and who isn't an unkillable murder machine. We need either bary or austro, I reckon

Main issue I see is that older deinosuchus already pose a large threat to young deinosuchus.

Smaller to medium sized spinosaurids are always fun

people always brig up sucho, but the competition for fish will be totally negated if they just put in multiple different types and sizes of fish. its obvious that an adult pelican looking dino rivalling the size of some apexes would be able to gulp down things bigger than what a cera sized gharialsaur could

7:33 It could be like a "Parry" alone and only when you manage to do that special attack at the same time as a pounce you gain an instakill but if you miss it for 3-5 seconds you can't attack again with your claws

this is an idea i have and the idea is that bary had something to grab other dinos (bud not lift them/drown) so they cant move it would cause a lot of bleed and if you muve or attak wile you are beggin grabbed you would bleeed more so you should wait a little sofor the bary to release you.

If its not faster than a deino in water, how will it ever catch one? The older deinos will scare them out of the water and the weaker ones just swim away. If a baby deino does die, an older one can hog the body easily. I like the idea , i jsut dont think it will work. Also its pretty hard to grow an adult deino currently. Cannibalism is very common.

tbh it would be cool if with trike and all horned, big clawed dinos (theri), i think if they made/make it so they can break in fights and stuff, for example if a trike got in fight with rex and rex got the trike by horn and broke it off, i think that would be not to bad for the game... i may make no sense, but i think u get the idea

Man, I haven't played the isle in years and recently I been motivated play with all these amazing videos. Is it worth getting back into and what would be some easy dinos be? I think I want to go with herbs because it seems carnovores outpopulate quite a bit.

Im really hyped about the 3 spinosaurids and austro, because you dont have to worry about hunting, you can survive woth only fish (even if that might mean you dont get the best diet)

I kinda fear than the deinosuchus is going to make it almost impossible for semi aquatic dinosaurs to live near water. We know that the suchos and Barries won’t be that powerful. Plus, deinos aren’t rare to be roaming in packs of two or more adults. I feel like there is going to be a very difficult balancing issue that will arise from the devs focusing on one dinosaur at a time and adding them to the game in that order. As it stands now, you just can’t live close to water at all no matter what you are with the exception of a fully grown stegosaurus. I am already kinda discouraged by the fact that they are adding like six dinosaurs each year. At that rate, it will take many more years before the game makes a full release. I also think that the combat system is good, but it makes losing a fight or getting ambushed so much more punishing than legacy. I really believe that the game would benefit if they implemented a system like path of titans where you can save progress at different stages of life. Putting 8 hours into a single dinosaur only for it to be double teamed by two other apexes and killed in under five minutes is just a huge waste of the player’s time

with the attacks, the primary should be a claw swipes, maybe having the order be a a right, left, then clap (1 swipe/clap per click, obvi). and its secondary attack should be a bite. now while the claw should be a heavy hitter, the bite should be for a bleeding affect to its prey, doing more blood than harm, and vise versa, of course

Unpopular opinion but we do not need three spinosaurs in the game and something like megaraptor would have been a more interesting choice as medium sized forelimb claw specialized predator.
