I've been trying to recreate Black for a while and i thought it might help other people with their own music if i made a video on how the track is put together, so here it is, enjoy!

I never realized there were two separate Sax' in the track!! Harmony at its finest!! On a side note: Holy shit this was really informative! Hope to see more tutorials, but regardless lovely work!

Hi, I'm kinda late to the party, but I totally agree. I genuinely don't know who did a better job, Toby Fox making the song, or Pascal explaining and remaking it- I feel like I know everything about music production now lmao

This is so IMPRESSIVE my god. The amount of work Toby puts into his music is astounding, and its really cool that you were able to recreate it to such a high degree!!!

I had always wondered how all those sounds would sound isolated from the rest. Really shows just how chaotic the whole thing is and just how many sounds we basically never even realised were there

Yeah, it's "IIIM A MEM-BER OF THE" and that little "hoohoo!" You hear at as ends of those parts is "midNIGHT crEW!"

holy shit how do you have such a fine ear i cant even recreate the first 4 notes of megalovania also wow tobys a music god how the fuck i just started my music making efforts like a year ago (and also im pretty sure im either tone deaf or have no natural talent) does this come with practice edit: ok this is mindblowing holy shit

@@eltiolavara9 it can help personally i pretty much dont play anything, just a hint of bass, i dont really know much music theory either but learning all that does help

how the hell did you make the nes pulse sound like that? i tried to copy your settings in FL studio and it sounds nothing like it

Reality Distorted which one? there’s different settings for the lead and chords

i think it was called chia’s vinyl crackle sample pack or something, it wasnt the exact source which is why i didnt link it it was just a placeholder
