To round off #MentalHealthAwarnessWeek, we wanted to share this wonderful and emotive piece created by young people on our youth social action (YSA) project, which focused on creating media on London youth culture.
The piece showcases Jono's journey into the squared circle, as he used boxing as a form of development to escape a 'dark place', highlighting the power of sports to develop.
Jono and other young people produced the piece as part of a Warner Music, KissFM, and Footlocker-funded film and music project based on the theme: 'a love letter to south London'.
The project uses youth culture to engage young people, develop their skills, and create opportunities for them to gain transferrable experience.
