Die hard Saints fan since Jim Mora and the Buddy D days, The Mike Ditka and the train wreck Ricky Williams draft days, Jim Haslett (Hakeem dropped the ball) days and the Sean Payton days. We will be back to glory. Crapping on Dereck Carr week in and week out i can promise you will not help. Spencer will have his day however until he is named the starting QB whether it’s next season or week 3 of this season…I’ll support Carr. And…needling Matt due to how much he hates this guy is very funny.

I fear we are headed in the same direction as last year. Carr has considerable injuries and needs a week or two off, but the Saints will refuse to start Rattler or Haener for political reasons and will put Carr back out onto the field at 10-30% as he throws for 80 yards and we lose important games.

You know when I knew Derek Carr was starting the next week Vs Tampa? At the end of the Green Bay game. Carr watched Jameis Winston piss away the 17 point lead Carr built to lose the game. That’s when DC decided that at 50% he gave his team a better chance to win. Jameis continued to prove Carr correct by losing all 3 of his relief games, only completing 50% of his passes and throwing more INTs than TDs, you can dislike Carr all you want, but as rough as Carr looked in that 1st game Vs Tampa he played better than Jameis did last season. Jameis had a 57 passer rating on the season, Carr in the Tampa game was still in the 60’s at least.

The NFL is not devoid of nepotism. I'm with you. The guy has been everywhere, and I believe if you're good at your job, teams tend to cling to you. San Francisco was a fluke for Kubs because the team was talented, and McCaffrey was on another level. I'll watch every game expecting an 8-9 or vice versa season. However, I'll still hope for a 14-3. Like I do every year. 😢

Don't forget that Atlanta and Tampa man handled us earlier in the season so it is progress that we blew them both out at the end of the year, so don't discredit those wins.

Carr after building chemistry with OC/ head coach, and wr/te after a season has improved in every passing stat.3rd season 2nd year with Musgrave/oc top 10 red zone scoring offense. 7th season 3rd yr with gruden top10 red zone scoring offense. This is also with a bottom 10 defense against the run and pass. The games this guy talks about being against bad teams, like the giants, they beat the packers the week before and had good playoff run so the saints whooped on the giants but the saints played a bad team. 👎 takes

@@K1ngWillthe rest of the NFL played the same teams. You expect the Saints to beat ALL of the better teams in the NFL when literally no other team does? If you want to split hairs like that, you should also say that we were only one possession (and you could even say one play) away from beating the Packers, Jaguars, Lions, and Texans last season. That would have made us 13-4. If Carr doesn't get hurt, we beat the Packers easily. Moreau dropped the game-winning TD against the Jaguars. Carr put it right in his hands.

Another year. Another offensive system and co-ordinator. Offensive lines take time to gel, and the Saints offensive line sucks ass, so unless they magically get better, the running game will suffer. Pass protection will suffer, and Carr will suffer. Even though it might be his 2nd year, it's really like his first all over again.

I hear so much excuses for Derek Carr, whether it’s play-calling, receivers, bad o-line , injuries, etc. Listen when a Qb needs everything to be ‘perfect’ in order to play well then in all likelihood he’s not really a good Quarterback 🤦🏽‍♂️

You just hate Carr😂😂😂 your talking about Stafford and in year 2 getting hurt like that’s his fault. Then you talk about Cousins going to the Vikings and year one was great everyone was happy and year 2 Diggs was throwing temper tantrums on the sideline because he wanted to get the ball more. Then lastly talk about Brett Farve who was 41 and probably shouldn’t have been playing football anymore due to age and didn’t play a full season. So you bring up all the QBs that go and have off 2nd seasons yet dont mention Tom Brady winning the SB in year 2 with the Bucs and having a career year in passing yards 43 TDs and winning the SB…. Or Jimmy G in year 3 having a career year and going to the SB….. your so one sided on this Carr thing it’s nuts just say you don’t like him and get on with it😂😂😂 our whole schedule last year was bad. We lost many games due to our kicker not being able to kick field goals. Lost to the Texans because our kickers were bad, lost to the Packers because Carr got hurt and was up 17-0 just to go on and miss a game winning field goal. We’re down 21-0 in the first 8 mins to the lions and if Moreau would have caught that TD we were looking at going to OT if we got the 2 point conversion… yes he didn’t play great last season but he definitely wasn’t as bad as you guys made him out to be.

He's not even getting paid a lot compared to other guys who are comparable to him. Jared Goff just got way more money for about the same production. He just has a better team around him.

Carr is the 3rd best QB in Saints history. Only Archie Manning and Drew Brees are better. Winston, Dalton, Hill, Siemien, Book, Haener, Rattler, Bridgewater, Mcown, Brunell, Brooks, Blake, Delhomme, Toliver, Wuerfel, Hobert, Coll9ns, Shuler, the list goes on. Carr is #3 ALL TIME

Carr is not the 3rd best QB in saints history that goes to billy joe herbert....was way better then Carr without a line at least he didn't panic and throw into like Carr did....so funny I can name 5 saints QBs that were better then Carr ....easily ....Carr is trash ...you'll see after he's fired or cut traded or after the dome is empty
