how bts' teamwork makes the dream work (and why most boybands don't last) | Reaction
naniluv1_
Today, i ( NaniLuv1_ ) reacted to something beautiful... somethin Special.. K-Pop & BTS related news! I've heard it be hyped up but i thought it was a trend but im actually thoroughly impressed! I reacted to BTS for the FIRST TIME and i might just binge watch more later today tbh. Tell me what songs i should react to next? This is my first time reacting to Kpop and i think its awesome!

BTS works together even sometimes when they're working on solo stuff. Other members listen and offer advice. Except in their RUN BTS games where they will lie, cheat, and steal from each other to win the grand prize of a rice cooker.

Fair enough.. cause a rice cooker is better than having to dress up as a sunflower to the airport OR dressing as a girl OR drinking a cup of fish sauce OR pouring water on your head as penalty😂

If you see behind the scene for BTS solo promotion, each members never failed to mention other members. Always. That showed how much they value each other and that helps to keep them together.

The unwavering camaraderie and brotherly bond among the members of BTS have been instrumental in propelling their unprecedented success. Unlike many other groups, BTS's synergy stems from a genuine connection forged through shared experiences, challenges, and triumphs. This deep understanding and solidarity infuse their music and performances with authenticity, resonating profoundly with their global fanbase. Their ability to navigate fame and pressure together, supporting each other through highs and lows, has not only strengthened their artistic cohesion but also fostered a unique sense of unity that sets them apart . BTS's success is not just about individual talent but a collective spirit that radiates through their music, advocacy, and interactions, inspiring millions to embrace camaraderie, resilience, and mutual respect.

I think BTS is both. That is why they are THE GROUP. They are great singers, dancers, rappers, but they also work EXTREMELY hard.

Out of topic but Fifth Harmony is the perfect example of a group full of talent but constantly outshining each other intentionally or unintentionally lol Mostly bc they were united in a show, some members were told to be just the "glue" of the group while others seemed to not have much limits (when it comes to singing live). All of them talented vocalists and had a lot of success but ended up breaking up bc the teamwork was not that great and for personal reasons. I'm not blaming Camila it all btw, she's amazing! and after all, all the other 4 girls stayed in the group but eventually stopped so yeah.. that proves my point

There's many people talented in this world and course some may be better in some areas or good at everything or be for example an insane vocalist like Dimash, but what I feel that they can't surpass is BTS synergy. All of them are different, have different and unique tones, styles and as artists they are all good and pretty diverse too, so when you put them all together and it works perfectly is just a miracle. They just hit different as artists and as people. Even their story and organic growth hits different. This is one of the reasons why I feel that BTS gets a lot of hate too bc some kpop stans say my fav x can sing better and I'm like (?) and what about it? BTS are fenomenal too and we just don't feel anything special with them or connect with their music (the same goes for rappers and dancers btw). BTS are the biggest for a reason and their art and aura cannot be replicated no matter how people try. This goes for the actual and future groups. why? Because they are not BTS. 😌💜

Maybe watch "The Rise of Bangtan"-series? It gives a lot of context. Since TVXQ sued their label in the 2000s Idol contracts are only allowed to be 7 years long. Since most groups outside of the big companies/established & known ones do not actually earn money or at least very little if they survive to the end of their contract they do not renew it and break up. But that is the thing: once you debut how long the contract lasts is on the label. They pay to train you and if you debut you have to pay it back first before you make money. They do give you a place to live and feed you. Can you get free? If you have a reason to sue maybe. But otherwise you would have to pay out the contract aka. the money they would earn with you during the contract. Because of the high investment the power lies with the label. Big Hit & the labels under HYBE do not ask to pay the training costs back. I heard that neither do the Big 3 but maybe that is only if you actually debut? Trainees are teenagers. 20 is pretty much too old to be casted. They do grow up together. The "supergroup" SuperM is from one label. They do know each other. But I'm not sure about the age difference. That said I know very little about the members. Taemin and Kai are friends despite Taemin debuting much earlier and roughly the same age (not quiet). When you know that your chances to make it in the industry is slim you will (most likely) try to outshine the others because that is the only way to have a career after the contract. This is for your own survivel because you are lost to the rest of the workforce/career. This is their job and their future. Fun Fact: ONF did go serve together. But a. their are almost the same age. The one member who isn't is Japanese. b. they did not pre-record anything K-pop is a fast paced industry and as such 1,5 years not being there pretty much destroys your career usesually. Only in recent years a few groups that came back actually had comebacks - but not that many, yet. Part of the reason is also that they don't tend to develop till BTS had success with exactly that. Hopefully more groups will still exist after service in the future. Maybe Seventeen is the next group to do that. Conflict is natural especially in a high pressure environment which is what idol music is. some groups seem to deal better with it than others. Thank you for your reaction!

This author clearly research and study well to come up with this video essay. I wish you would listen and watch this content comprehensively, your opinion, reaction because of your perception is kind of annoying. All I hear before the sentence even finished are... "I don't know...." "I don't agree with that..." KPOP groups are very different from western Boy Bands

It’s okay for me to disagree with a few points that she has. That’s my style of commentary that’s present in every one of my videos. I have way more comments saying they love it then the few (like yours) that tell me to not ask questions. I’m asking questions for understanding, not to be a rebel. Thank you for watching! 🕺🏽

The author is totally right, I think that's why BTS makes things work perfectly. And in my opinion that's why BTS and BP are really famous but yg control a lot bp in terms of creativity, the amount of song that are out ( but all the songs are perfect and meticulous, High quality, so that's why) and it doesn't work as well as BTS but the different personalities, changement of positions and styles of music makes the two groups incredible, they have their own spotlight. I'm a big delulu for wanting a Collab btwn them
