The word sin is not used but "done something wrong" is. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin is well described in 14:07 to 14:36 and the word "convict" is said but changed to convinced.

As a child I went to Church of Scotland and attended bible study ( this was the old fashioned Church of Scotland - not this new born again stuff) anyway my point is that as a child I got a far more in-depth biblical education than what is currently now being offered by this new watered down alpha course. I truly feel that the alpha course is some pseudo Christian bible study that glosses over many aspects of the bible while totally neglecting other aspects of the bible and is lacking the basic principles and understanding of Christianity. The fact as a child I got a better biblical education than what is now offered by these alpha courses should speak volumes about its poor content

I did not hear the word sin once. The job of the Holy Spirit is to convict of sin. No mention of sin from a ministry no Holy Spirit in the ministry. True children of god HATE sin.
