Give Me Trees Trust has planted more than 20 million trees all across the country. It was founded by Peepal Baba, who is one of the most renowned environmentalists in the country. Give Me Trees has more than 11,500 volunteers throughout the country.

Yes sir aur road side Avenue plant jo pahle se hai unhe replantion karni chahiye use site mai with counting mai v hai way plant splaye karta hu per dukh hota hai purane plant ko ktam hote huye hume pata hai ek plant ko grow hone mai kitni mehnat lagti hai.road ko vikas ke liye banaya jaye binas ke liye nahi.

No need to take any permission. Government's land is treated like public place and no permission is needed to plant trees on public places.

Sir, Any update on this after 2-3 years? Gadkari sir had commented on lacklustre plantation work done by tendered companies on NHAI projects. Did you get any latest info if they have rectified their policies??

Namaskar Peepal Baba. Your ideas are so good. Some practicable ideas: In metropolitan cities there are so many traffic islands and junctions given to companies for greening and maintenance. It could be made compulsory to plant small trees eg champa, banana, bamboo, small palm and coconut trees, and cover the rest with tulsi (holy basil), will it not make a difference? Huge metal structures are put by overenthusiastic young corporators. Today these are a waste and huge trees would be a better idea. Trees are proving dangerous but protective netting probably would be a solution by at least breaking the fall of some falling branches. If China can have tree towers at traffic junctions, why can't we? SOME OF THE BUILDINGS WITH UNSOLD FLATS POSSIBLY CAN BE CONVERTED INTO TREE TOWERS. Children are today most worried for their future (so are we, but who cares?). Can't school children be taken to a designated area for tree plantation every day for just one week in the academic year? Imagine if all schools in India did this. The maths is the answer! How happily would they donate seeds collected from home! Seed collection drive should begin at school level itself.
