Everything in the world is happening under the control of the Supreme Lord and we are held accountable for all our actions. The material nature gives us pleasures and pains as per our karma. We should know that even suffering is Lord's mercy on us since we get to learn lessons from such situations and be careful not to indulge in sinful activities again.

Become a good/excellent human being. That only one thing will automatically make you a good/excellent father, mother, son, daughter, citizen, devotee, employee, employer, minister etc. You do not have to separately become a good devotee or a father or a mother etc. All these designations given to human beings requires the trait of humanities...such as kindness, discipline, empathy, dedication, commitment etc. That only one thing will change the world. If you are not a good human being then you cannot be good in anything. It's an incorrect statement if we say somebody is good father but not a good employee. If he is not a good employee, he cannot be a good father also. If he is a good father but not a good employee...reflects that the person is a good father because based on his nature he sees some benefit in being a good father but not sees his benefit in becoming a good employee. Because the traits required for both the designations are same.
