I’m a high school educator and after 2.5 years of teaching, I’m here trying to figure out what we’re doing with children… our system is broken and due to critical mass, we may be too far gone. It’s actually heartbreaking

Above you, there is the institution. Intelligence and responsability, is what he is talking about to try to make you solve the problem of having children somehow arrested in the context of tradicional education. I have children myself, and also worry about it

@@Shiva-pu8nb Garu is respect in Telugu. GARU AS suffix to a name is respectable way to call, equivalent to Mr. J.Krishnamurthy. You can be called Siva Garu. Madapanapalle is where he is born. So people of that place generally share more emotional bond and that's OP guy mean.

What is education - are we educating them to perform in a workplace? Or educating them on what is needed to be a true full human? We’ve focused on the former and entirely ignored the latter.

There's a paradigm shift towards blaming teachers regarding ' pity examination marks' from parents and the society... I don't think so holistic approach to life possible (as JK sir told) between these wolves..
