Every player is secretly on the Liberal team or the Fascist team.
The game ends in a Liberal Victory if either:
Five liberal policies are enacted.
Hitler is assassinated.
The game ends in a Fascist Victory if either:
Six fascist policies are enacted.
Hitler wins an election as chancellor any time after the third fascist policy has been enacted.

Also if a fascist card is placed because of a third consecutive fail, the actions on the spot it is placed on isn’t enacted (i.e. no one gets assassinated)

If Julia killed Megan nelson could’ve spun a story about how Sean was the most trustworthy bc of his plays and convinced everyone to let the pair go thru and the fascists would’ve won, I mean good on Julia for having good intuition I suppose but I kinda wish she went with the obvious “suspicious” people (bc megan was acting weirdly fascist-y). 1. Election tracker resets after a successful round COMPLETELY 2. Off of a top deck, you aren’t allowed to use the presidential power. :)

The election tracker is reset when a new policy hits the table, not when a government is elected. Using veto power advances the tracker too, so having 2 failed votes and using veto on the third, successful government also means you play the top policy on the deck.

Tracker is supposed to reset after successful vote, it's only an auto vote for 3 failed in a row. Also, reshuffle leftover cards if less than 3 in the draw pile.

@@eeDeen You are correct, but they never do that either, they only ever reset after they let it go all the way to revealing the top policy. Also, I was referring to this rule in the rules: "If there are fewer than three tiles remaining in the Policy deck at the end of a Legislative Session, shuffle them with the Discard pile to create a new Policy deck. Unused Policy tiles should never be revealed, and they should not be simply placed on top of the new Policy deck." So not specifically relating to a failed vote and reveal of top policy. Sorry if it sounded like I was combining the two points. They always put tiles back on top of the new shuffled deck, just always bothers me, I'm a stickler for rules in our games :)

As someone who watched with roles not revealed I 100% thought Megan and Sean was fascists. Julia's thinking was along the same lines as mine. Left side was the most suspicious but christian seemed ok after picking the 4th liberal card.

Also, whenever, the election tracker gets to the end and a random policy is passed, the power granted by passing a fascist policy is ignored. (Though it shouldn't have gotten to the end in this particular instance).

Actually it resets when a police played on the table. 2 Failed elections and a veto on the third, successful election also triggers it because veto moves it forward too.

I was half right. I figured Sean was Hitler (he kept trying to bring attention to his "good" plays), but thought Megan was the other Fascist (her accusation of Pat seemed the perfect mishearing of Pat's statement and then push guilt on Pat). Nelson should have acted a bit more shady to draw attention away from Sean. GG everyone!
