) Liquid level is simulated by a number control, range from 0m to 10m (2) Indicator is a round number indicator. (3) Alarm including low and high situation with 2 Leds, threshold can be set by user. Light on when Liquid level exceed high threshold or low than low threshold, otherwise off. Answer please

I would like to clear my doubt here, in this video you have mentioned. if we add the dielectric material in between electrode the electric field are increase how it is possible. can you tell me the details about the electric field increase.
@carlosa.avalle528
@carlosa.avalle528 4 ай бұрын
Good question! You ready for this? Inserting a dielectric between the electrodes does not increase the electric field, it actually weakens it and that's why there is an increase in capacitance: Here's how: * Capacitance (C) is directly proportional to the charge (Q) stored on the plates and inversely proportional to the voltage (V) across the plates (C = Q/V). * The voltage between the plates is related to the electric field (E) and the distance (d) between the plates by the equation V = E * d. * By weakening the electric field (E) for the same amount of charge (Q), the dielectric effectively reduces the voltage (V) needed to maintain that charge. * Since capacitance is inversely proportional to voltage, a decrease in voltage due to the dielectric leads to an increase in capacitance. Another way to think of it: Most dielectric materials are polarizable, meaning their internal charged particles (electrons and protons) can be slightly shifted by an external electric field. * When a voltage is applied to the capacitor plates, the electric field influences the polarizable molecules in the dielectric. * These molecules tend to align partially with the electric field, creating microscopic electric dipoles (tiny separations of positive and negative charges within the material, the micro-dipoles will have opposite polarity to the electric field because positive charges on the capacitor plates will tend to attract negative charges in the micro dipoles and viceversa). * The net effect of these microscopic dipoles is an additional electric field that opposes the original field from the capacitor plates. * This opposing field from the polarized dielectric weakens the overall electric field within the capacitor. * As explained earlier, a weaker electric field for the same charge translates to a higher capacitance. In essence, the dielectric acts like a helper, reducing the opposing force needed to store charge on the capacitor plates. This allows the capacitor to store more charge for the same voltage compared to a scenario with just air (dielectric constant of 1) as the separator.

Hi Mike. Thanks for the review! I'd like to add to the answer you gave regarding the RO or Zero water question. The manufacturer's response was right on. I have the BDC600XL. I thought I would try Zero water to see how the taste of my coffee would change. Once I did, I noticed that the electronic water level stopped working. The float would rise to the full reservoir position but the electronic level on the display never came up to full. I also noticed that I was getting inconsistent amounts of coffee in the carafe. I thought the sensor in the reservoir gave out and I was stuck with a $250 hunk of stainless steel. Not so! It turns out that the water level sensor needs the minerals in the water to work (as the manufacturer stated) - the minerals that the Zero water filter was removing! Once I switched back to regular tap water (which the manual recommends), all was fine. I'm guessing the machine uses a sensor similar to this: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ZsqlYLSGlreUhGg.html.

in India I think no vehicle manufacturers provide these type of sensors , presently we bought a TATA AGCL Schools Bus , in which fuel Indicator is not working since day 1 first we thought it might be cos of low fuel , when we asked to Company Service , they said it's broken we can't replace , when we have given 85000 as a premium membership for service

can you measure the level of liquid nitrogen using this technology??
@nicholaslane3053
@nicholaslane3053 9 жыл бұрын
You can measure nitrogen liquid with a capacitance probe; nitrogen cannot conduct electricity because it has no free ions to carry the charge and it is not combustible which would make it suitable for this application.

Thank you for the video. However, isn't it incorrect to show the frequency change as the liquid level changes? A change in capacitance changes the current in the circuit, not the frequency). The narration seems to confirm this but the animation shows frequency changes.
@GR-hh6cr

I think so. There is no association between capacitance change and frequency change.
