Caratlane is India's 1st e-commerce jewellery company and is making more than ~Rs. 2,000 Crores in annual profits. But what's unique about them is that they were not always considered the "game-changers" as they are today. In fact, they were bleeding losses of ~Rs. 63 Crores until 2016 when they got acquired by Titan.

Insightful. The fact they are the forerunners of Indian e-commerce is so underrated. In fact both Caratlane and Flipkart started the same year.

Personally I believe useless industries such as gems and jewellery should be blacklisted. The money could flow into bigger and useful things like semiconductors and aircraft engines
