Carmine is an extremely nice and down to earth guy. I hate to see him get a bad rap when he doesn't deserve it whatsoever. 👍☮️

@redfac3d Check out Guitar Zeus on KZfaq. And that's all I'm going to say. That's Camine's project. He put ALL of that together. When Tommy Lee notes Carmine Appice as his main influence. Nothing else needs to be said. But so you know... I agree that Carmine is the best and one of the best PEOPLE in the music business. 👍☮️

Love this guy. You gotta blow your own horn because nobody else will. He plays drums on the song "What's Your Name" by Three Man Army and really gives the song power and drive. That's the only song on that album that he plays on.

I don't think it ended well between Rod & Carmine. Rod was quoted as saying "Never trust a drummer who puts his name on his bass drums".

Its a big band thing Krupa , Rich , bellson had their names on bass drums. Carmine and Cozy took it and established it in Heavy music.

@@Nissardpertugiu just look up some of his interviews, when ozzy got rid of him, probably because he was overbearing, carmine was saying in interview about jake e Lee had a drug problem , and jake is a pretty nice guy

Carmine always scared me when I was a kid! The Zapata 'tache made him look demonic to me...! Must've been when he was playing with Rod Stewart. Then I find out he played with Jeff Beck (as did Rod once) and biscuit kickers don't get to back up legends like Jeff Beck.

Carmine is not an egomaniac. That's not true. Singers and Guitar players typically get all of the praise in rock bands. Carmine sticks up for himself and other drummers. That's all. Prime example? Alex Van Halen should do the same. He is as important as everybody else. But people go back and forth between Eddie and/or Dave or Sammy for decades past present and future. Alex Van Halen defined their sound as much or more than anybody in the band with the "End of the world" Drums!!!👍☮️💯

Should’ve kept him. All the other drummers soon afterwards were all not that good. Dave Palmer is now the current and longest lasting drummer in Rod’s band.

I liked it when he was using Tony Brock...from the Baby's. Solid, cool drummer. Probably didn't 'talk as much'...as Carmine.
