I suspect that it's finally running consistently at 120mph whereas the original rarely actually hit the 120mph mark at launch (despite the advertised speed).

Rode it twice yesterday Tues for gold pass event, row 9 both times ya get whipped over the top hat out of your seat was to me way better than the original and a much more complete experience ride.

How Cedar Point and Zamperla wowed the masses but disappointed a few self entitled thusies who haven't even ridden it yet. I love the new ride. 😁❤️❤️😁👍👍how could anyone be disappointed with a 101 mph BACKWARDS launch??? 🤷🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️

i don't understand people's obsession with how it was originally set up - it was almost immediately outshined by kingda ka. This is way more unique and the longer ride time will ensure I actually remember what's going on lol. TTD used to be over so quickly I'd barely realize what happened.

I still can't get over how much it shakes side to side in every single video I've seen. It looks super rough for a ride that's like 90% straight track...

Despite being new, it is still 21 year old metal that's been repainted, hence the shaking. You don't feel it much on the ride at all though.

The original ride / trains had a shake to them down the launch, it just wasn't as noticeable because you only did it once, now you go through it 3 times. The launch track and pull up on the top hat are only vertically supported with no cross-bracing and thus the structure sways and moves.

Delivered is very strong language for a ride that hasn’t opened yet. From what I’ve heard from media day the ride runs extremely rough, almost like a wooden coaster… that’s not good. We’ll see what the general public thinks but if coaster enthusiasts aren’t over taken by nostalgia I doubt the GP will be.

Rode yesterday. Row 9. Silver train. 3rd launch while entering the top hat shook the hell out of me. My first thoughts getting off were disbelief in how rough it was. Maybe just needs dialed in a bit more.

I like the colors, except for one. That Gray on the supports just doesn't scream "Fun" for me. It would have been much better had they put the same blue that's on the station on the supports because that would make the not only more eye catching and attractive but also more fun to look at.
