US strategy towards China is empty of strategy but full of emotions (driven by jealousy) What do you expect from this childish attitude?

As an African, I can answer the question "why the US suddenly made China a villain"! It is simply because they realized that China has the better political system, that the way the government works is really the way everyone should follow and that China is now the top country in the world especially in technology and militarily, but also in everything else. The US cannot bear to be nothing else than #1. They are afraid, because of projection. They know what they did because they had an advantage and assume that anybody in their situation would "return the favor" as they (the US ) definitely would. Fear of being the recipient of what they did is what dictates the US behavior. Like I said, as an African we do understand that all too well. They won't admit greatness when they see it, they fear it!🤷🏾‍♂️

That last US debate was like two 12 year olds dressed as old men. It was so funny and disturbing at the same time. I just can't get over the fact that those 2 are the only options for the US. Nothing good is going to come from the US, in the years to come with either one.

1. It is not unusual that China is not concerned about U.S. presidential debate. 2. In fact , China strongly focuses on steady domestic development so as to improve the well-being of its people. 3. Whoever will win the U.S. presidential election is immaterial to China because U.S. hostility towards China will not be much different. China will put in more efforts and develop better strategies to counteract the forthcoming challenges from outside world.

As a Swede, I didn't watch the debate. We knew that it wouldn't tell us anything. So, we missed that it would wake the US up to Bidens dementia. As a Swede I knew that already when he was elected. But you Americans ignored that. But no one in Europe would have voted for Trump 2016 either. And we didn't even knew he would start a trade war with China. We made the mistake to think Obama would be a good president since he intelligent enough. But we have now realized he were the founder of all bad things happening from that time. Including his VP Biden initiating the Ukrane debacle. The deterioration of the US is clear to everybody now, but it has a long history.

Like such a dialogue, however, in my humble opinion, Professor Shen should be more straightforward as a scholar instead of a diplomat, like Larry, and say what you wanted to say perhaps saying in Chinese first then repeat in English to be more logical so that to make the points crossed better!

You probably won't understand, but the Chinese are naturally diplomatic ... certainly compared to our big-mouthed, self-serving directness. For example, they have no need to begin a statement with "in my humble opinion" since they are naturally and genuinely humble, unlike our vapid declarations.

@@60-second-HACKSdude I read and write Chinese, speak 4 southern dialects plus mandarin fluently, spent most of my life in Asia. I’d like to know where you find such Chinese cuz I see those once in maybe 3 blue moons in the last 30 years including amongst the diaspora in Southeast Asia. We preface advise and comments with our version of IMO all the time in when speaking Chinese especially when observing honorifics. Don’t mistake language barriers and cultural or traditional hierarchical speech for humbleness. We have our share of arrogance and elitism that will give Americans a very good run for their money even when China was poor.
