As a scientist, I can tell you that it is fascinating to study microbes today (I am doing stem cell research though). We contain about as many microbes as human cells within and on our body (about 37 trillion, respectively). We all know that many of these microbes are benificial for us but more and more evidence suggests that imbalances in the composition of microbes do not only provoke diarrhea but also depression of obesity (I would love to cover that in one of my videos). Feel free to ask me anything about this topic (or stem cell biology, since it's a great topic) here!
