Current drug therapies mean it’s possible to live a normal life span with HIV, but that’s expensive and not a long term solution. What we really need is an HIV vaccine and a cure. So, how close are we?

@Águila701 not really, bro, commies or capitalists, history had show that both sides would rather have the cancer vaccine for themselves than to share them to the population, you see, it is bad for business to have a cured patient, but it is even worst if you are expected to share that one cure to a large population that basically cannot afford the cure. Commie leaders won't have the money to support such program, because as you can see, they rather lavish their lives as much as the capitalists does, and because Communism is a system that does not make money. And we have cutthroat capitalists who would rather see a profit out of AIDS treatment rather than the vaccine for it.

Masturbating and real sex are completely different things. You do not relax psychologically when you masturbate but you do relax when you make real sex. This has been proven by the science. If you do not make a real sex for a long time and masturbate only like 2-3 years, you will have psychological and anger issues in your life.

Various people have been cured, it just does not get the media attention as they are often called "spontaneous remissions" instead of "cured". Many people have been cured by simply going off the AZT, which is a major cause of AIDS. Another reason they do not like to mention people being cured since the HIV "treatment"' is a cause of AIDS.

AJ12Gamer Rubbish. A complete bone marrow transplant may possibly help in some cases of AIDS in helping to restore a damaged immune system, but a bone marrow transplant doesn’t tackle HIV. What you meant to say was ‘It is possible that under some rare circumstances a recipient of bone marrow from a donor with specific CCR5 genetic mutations may improve or be cured by new cells crowding out those cells susceptible to HIV entry. ‘ However, it is not possible, practical or suitable in the majority of cases.

I came of age in the 90's and the government push to make the public aware of HIV was definitely effective for me. I spent most of my adult life convinced that I had it (no real reason, just paranoid I guess). I had an irrational fear of blood tests for the longest time. It wasnt until recently that I had thorough blood work done and was astonished (and releived) to find I was HIV negative. I wish I had gotten tested was sooner but the fear of finding out was overwhelming for me. Back in the early 2000's there was no sure fire way of controlling the virus, thus making it a certain death sentence... today, they have excellent medication that apparently renders the virus so weak that it doesn't even show up in a blood test. Go get tested if you haven't already

james Fra so far, it's been a burdensome "cure". We're all still fearful of who we have sex which is tragic because it's universally desirable. Immunity is still ideal as a cure since it would alleviate this fear. That being said, pregnancy is still and overpopulation is still a serious problem but would need a unique solution of its own. Having less sex is a defeatist strategy that reduces the quality of life for anyone who wants sex. It's only viable now because the alternative is a disease ridden life. Protection also seems to be a comprise as far too many people enjoy the idea of raw sex (intimacy) despite almost no difference in sensation. Other complaints of condoms have been addressed throughout the years so this remains the only problem. There's also global problem of getting downtrodden countries and poor communities to handle this problem better.

This is on my top three favorite channels on KZfaq and as a member of the LGBT community, I was so happy to see this episode. I am disappointed however that a reference to the antiretroviral Truvada was only flashed on the screen and not discussed in full. When taken daily Truvada, also referred to as PrEP, has a 99.9% protection rate against the transfer of HIV to someone with a negative status. While commonly popular in the LGBT community, I’ve noticed very little advocacy and dialogue within the heterosexual community about this amazing drug.
@javiervanegas8931
@javiervanegas8931 4 ай бұрын
maybe its effectivity rate is precisely the reason its not talked about. Maybe protecting people from it wasn't the original intent from some of the scientists involved. Maybe the intent was just to patent something that would make money. If you have 1% of what you used to have of AIDs patients, it's less money. :)

Diagnosed with does not mean infected with to begin with. A person is ASSUMED infected if they test HIV+ but there are over 65 known causes for false positives on the notoriously inaccurate HIV tests. Various people have been cured of AIDS by simply getting off their AZT, which is a primary cause of AIDS and since they never had HIV to begin with. They simply tested false positive and went on AZT inducing the AIDS. When they went off the AZT their symptoms and thus the AIDS went away and therefore were cured. The medical establishment though does not call these cures though but rather spontaneous remissions.

I'm only 16 but I have an idea. Instead of targeting cells that the HIV/AIDs virus RNA has mutated, why not target the RNA itself. Is it not possible to synthesis and use a so called "Trojon virus" to replace the existing Aids/HIV RNA with a gene sequence that is genetically identical to the part of the cell's DNA(Before it was mutated by the HIV/AIDs RNA). Or using the same method, is it possible to go ahead and use this virus to replace the left over part of the DNA(not altered) with a variation that is able to counter the RNA of the AIDs virus? This is just an idea that popped into my head. Please do correct me if I made any mistakes

Agree 100 percent. Nice video. I only have 1 question why can't the body detect Hiv during the early phase or upon entry? I have a theory which could be extremely wrong- because Hiv is so unique- the body of course can detect Hiv. However during early immune response Hiv can easily elude this by giving up its receptor sites( gp 120). The immune system would stop attacking the virus because it only attacks virus with antennas or gp 120. In the absence of gp 120 it would shut down. Then Hiv would grow back its gp 120 if threatened again it would give it up again. The process would go on and on until it reaches its target tells. By then it's check mate.anyway it's just a theory which is probably wrong anyway. I just wish people with Hiv aids will be healed soonest.

It is not only well made, but also important info for all humans who have sex with other humans. Please, everyone, learn how to have safer sex before engaging in any activity that might transmit the virus to someone else. I am a very sex positive man, and always inform my partner of my positive status before "playing"! I have never been able to figure out exactly which of my partners gave me the virus. At this point, 18 years since my diagnosis, I figure it's pointless to dwell on the who. I'm more concerned with staying as healthy as possible as long as I can. Take care, everyone. No one will do it for you. With proper treatment you can still live a normal lifespan if you stay on top of it. God bless you all.

I personally had to get rabies immunoglobulin injections after getting bitten by a rabid rat in my garage several years ago and it still scares me to death (pun intended) that I had a pathogen inside of me that has a 100% nearly fatality rate and a painful way to go at that. I hope one day i wont have e to live in fear of people finding out my secret. Also i was lucky enough to get type 1 or mount soars or better known cold soars. This wasn't as bad seeing as it is more common around my area. Lots of people have that near my place. I just have to be careful with anyone i touch or kiss or sometimes hug i dont like to think of myself as a carrier pf sorts. @@Hveragerthi About ozone therapy: It's an alternative medicine treatment, which means it has no plausible biological basis. The level of ozone required in order to 'cure' cancer is a) fatal/deadly in most cases b) illegal c) not gonna work. In 80% of deaths due to improper handling (of which there are 10), the 'doctor' had used a fake credential, thus giving the possibility that even more people have been given an improper treatment, and further destroying the foundation on the claim of ozone therapy. "Betulinic acid from chaga" is a misstatement. Betulinic acid is anticancerous towards breast cancer, but there is no plausible evidence that shows a difference between synthesized and extracted molecules, therefore 'artificial' (synthesized) betulinic acid has the same properties. However, it is infeasible to use betulinic acid as isn't very soluble in blood. Therefore, different synthesized molecules will be needed (which cannot be extracted from chaga and therefore your second 'cure' is also alternative medicine).

@Eric Li : "@Hveragerthi About ozone therapy: It's an alternative medicine treatment, which means it has no plausible biological basis." ROTFLMAO!!!! That is one of the most ridiculously STUPID statements I have heard in a long time!!!! Where did you get your education that you don't even know what the definition of alternative means?!!!! Alternative simple means a different method, not "no plausible biological basis". If that were the case then all of allopathic medicine would have no plausible biological basis since it is the true alternative medicine since holistic medicine was the primary medicine for hundreds of years before the highly corrupt AMA and its Morris Fishbein came in to power. Obviously you never read the history of actually happened since assuming bullshit is easier for you. The FDA was actually formed because of the EXTREME corruption of the AMA and Fishbein who approved drugs based on whether or not you paid for advertising in JAMA or not. So the FDA was formed to take over the role of the corrupt AMA but in the long run the FDA became more corrupt than the AMA ever was. I suggest you research things such as when the FDA was approving untested drugs in exchange for payoffs, the top FDA officials that own stock in the drug companies they oversee in violation of insider trading laws, the 710 FDA approved prescription drugs the FDA was Court ordered to remove from the market in 1969 due to their being too dangerous for human use or totally ineffective but the FDA left on the market anyway many of which are still on the market and now over the counter........ Or the testimony of Ex-Commissioner for the FDA Herbert Ley who testified before Congress that the FDA was using governmental police powers to protect the profits of the pharmaceutical companies and were in turn being given money, gifts and high level positions within those drug companies. If you really want to get in to it I can give you all sorts of examples of FDA proven drugs that have been proven to be ineffective or will cause the same problems they are supposed to treat. That is called having no plausible biological basis!!! Eric Li : "The level of ozone required in order to 'cure' cancer is a) fatal/deadly in most cases" ROTFLMAO!!!! OMG you are SO FULL OF BULLSHIT!!!! You obviously have absolutely no clue how ozone therapy works!!!! Actually very minute concentrations are used, which in large part mimics the same method that T-killer cell use to destroy cancer cells when detected. Ozone goes well beyond that though by increasing anticancer cytokines, increasing anticancer superoxide dismutase, destroying cancer pathogens and many carcinogens, increasing antioxidant enzyme levels and increasing white blood cell activity. Eric Li : "b) illegal" Wrong yet once again. Ozone therapy came to the U.S. in 1892. Under U.S. law any therapy in use prior to the induction of the FDA (1909) that shows no unreasonable risk to human safety has a grandfathered approval status. A study done in Germany did an assessment of neatly 6 million doses of ozone given. There were just over 30 adverse reactions, mostly mild such as pain at the injection site, and most were found to be from improper administration. There is not a single pharmaceutical drug on Earth with that kind of safety record. Again you need to stop assuming bullshit and learn how to at least do basic research from credible sources!!! Eric Li : "c) not gonna work. " There are all sorts of studies on PubMed and in the medical databases that say otherwise. Again you need to stop assuming bullshit and learn how to at least do basic research from credible sources!!! Eric Li : " In 80% of deaths due to improper handling (of which there are 10), the 'doctor' had used a fake credential, thus giving the possibility that even more people have been given an improper treatment, and further destroying the foundation on the claim of ozone therapy. " What deaths and what doctor? Some doctor you read about in your comic books? And ozone is not handled, it is administered. Show us some real proof of these deaths proving the ozone was the cause. While you are at it trying to find this fictional evidence look up how many people die each year as a result of chemotherapy and radiation therapy side effects. Hint, it is far, far greater than 10 people!!!!! Eric Li : " "Betulinic acid from chaga" is a misstatement. Betulinic acid is anticancerous towards breast cancer," Again you are proving your ignorance of the topic. Betulinic acid has been used on a variety of cancers including brain, lung, colon, prostate, etc. Other studies have shown its effectiveness against HIV and hepatitis viruses. Eric Li : " but there is no plausible evidence that shows a difference between synthesized and extracted molecules, therefore 'artificial' (synthesized) betulinic acid has the same properties" Well duh!!!! If they are the same exact molecule then it will have the same exact effect. Do you always like to bring up the super obvious in a poor attempt to look intelligent?!!!! Eric Li : " However, it is infeasible to use betulinic acid as isn't very soluble in blood. " ROTFLMAO!!!! I guess you need a class in basic chemistry as well as human physiology since you appear to be completely clueless in both areas. When acids leave the stomach the acids are neutralized by a release of pancreatic sodium bicarbonate, which is commonly known in medicine as the alkaline response. This will convert the betulinic acid in to a more soluble salt. Eric Li : " Therefore, different synthesized molecules will be needed (which cannot be extracted from chaga and therefore your second 'cure' is also alternative medicine)." Once again you have NO CLUE how the human body works not what the definition of "alternative" is. Maybe you can find a 5th grade to read and explain to you this study on betulinic acid for cancer, which is one the NUMEROUS studies available to everyone including you for free on PubMed and other sources. cancerres.aacrjournals.org/content/67/6/2816

Before a patient can receive the donated BM, the old BM has to be eradicated completely (I believe it is done with radiation). BM is where hematopoiesis takes place, which is the origin of all blood cells and therefore also the origin of CD4+ T helper cells. Those are the cells that the HIV infects and as an integral part of the adaptive immunity, this is what finally gives you the acquired immuno deficiency. Now, HIV needs two surface molecules on the host cells to infect it: CD4 and CCR5. Around 1% of the people has a mutation in the gene that encodes CCR5, which alters the molecule in a way that it no longer gets presented on the cell surface. And without CCR5, HIV cannot enter the cell and with that the person is immune to it. So the Berlin Patient received BM from a person with the mutation ;) To be precise, it the CCR5-Δ32 mutation and it makes you immune against HIV-1, if you want to look it up.

The way to cure aids I believe is through a machine maybe like car-t cell therapy they use for some cancers now but instead also heat the blood in this particular machine to a boiling point where hiv is destroyed then let it go through a cool down within machine before returning to body. Can’t they do that? They may need to oxygenate the blood after boiling point before releasing back into body.

John Smith Lots of people pop pills for other diseases for their entire lives. The real factor that makes it not normal is the cost of HIV medication compared to the cost of other regular treatments. It’s incredibly expensive to be treated which ties into the whole “the rich are hiding the cure” the Rory

@@DRKNT640 True, they just came out with a newer med that supposedly is easier on the body, but it cost like $100 U.S. dollars per pill. Being broke is a death sentence if you have certain illnesses which we all know. HIV is just another illness that's a death sentence depending on where you were born and your station in life. It's crappy but I don't have the answer for this harsh reality. If those infected can get on the meds early, they should generally be living for awhile. Like 30 to 40 some years after being infected in fact.

No virus has ever been proven to be the cause of disease. There is not one scientific study proving that HIV is the cause of AIDS. I was wary of 'sars Cov.2' because I studied the HIV/AIDS scam beforehand. See Dr Tom Cowan.
