Astonishing, Mark! I do not know WTF you are made of. I Shield cast 25lb with good form and 35lb ugly, but I will never stop trying to improve form and weight. I am 74. I have been playing with iron toys for 4 years just to get here. Even my meager success has dramatically improved my health and capability in the world. You are inspirational as well as a superb teacher. Thanks

Pro tips from my coach: 1. Don't hit yourself in the face and knock out all of your teeth 2. Don't drop it on your toes and crush them like grapes 3. Make it look pretty. If it looks pretty it means you're generally doing it with good technique 😁💪

Does the paper label on the base add to the weight over 36 kg? 😂 That’s an insane weight! Well done! I’d worry about bonking my face with that kind of weight. I recently did a single arm landmine chest press at 60 kg total weight (2 x 20 kg plates + 20 kg Olympic bar) and because my hand was slippery with sweating it dropped onto my shoulder and a bruise of the dark purple kind resulted days later! I can’t lift these heavy weights due to hyperhidrosis. Swinging anything above at 32 kg kettlebell just flies across the room (despite on the rare dry hand days, I can do single arm 44 kg swings no problem). I did a 12 kg single arm alternating mill with a Clubbell and that went flying across the room as can’t get a solid grip because of the hyperhidrosis! Gloves are a waste of time. Chalk too! Regular toweling-off works but not fullproof. Any suggestions? I know I can get into this heavier weight territory if I can find a reliable way to curb this hand hyperhidrosis.

Damn, sir! That is impressive. Your statement on form keeps hitting me in the face (metaphorically) when I jump weights on my one arm program. Those swings that come when I'm tired start to get a little sloppy and I have to fight to keep myself straight. When I get it right, I can move up in weight. If I leave it crappy, I don't go anywhere. Side note: Kind of funny how you're doing this in front of a VTX1800. When the bike came out, it was the first power cruiser and the first production bike with an engine of that size. Was the placement on purpose?

Try doing outside the leg swings doubles and then singles outside the leg swings and eventually outside single-arm swings to pullover. Also do swings from the back of the body side ways across and straight out and put it together with inside and outside low swinging pendulums swings (cleans is next level but try)Do a lot of two arm swings but when you feel it's safe take any hand of your choice out of the equation.

Get that 80 pound mace adex which is really a gada and do spear moves ,grave digger moves, prepping yourself for launching moves launch and get it and just doing the ten to two's different squat variations. Ha still a 80 lb water bag on the kit in the interest of being able to make more forgiving mistakes what if you could get the mastodon kit and there was somehow a way to cover the kit with a 80 to 120 pound lb water bag . 80 +120=200 pounds. 200 pound mace .. gada..

@MarkWildman
@MarkWildman 9 ай бұрын
Yeah, could probably work but seeing as how this is all torsion and traction and try planar movements, I’m pretty sure I’d have to do some math to figure out if the speed of the club is going to cash that magnet off before I do it or just do it in a padded room
@maxlevy9215
@maxlevy9215 9 ай бұрын
Lever length and velocity would contribute much more to the shear force than the club's intrinsic weight -- so you can probably test it out with an fairly lightly loaded Arc (or club with the 3d print spacers) for a similar length but higher peak velocity, given it would be a submaximal weight.
@maxlevy9215
@maxlevy9215 9 ай бұрын
Maybe do it outside in a wide open field (half the workout is getting the club out there). Or lock it down with a bunch of gaffer tape.
