I remember, that land acquisition for Bullet trains started at the same time in both Maha and Gujarat but, when Gujarat was at 95% in land acquisition, Maharashtra was at 40%. I am happy that center gave semiconductor project to Gujarat because Dholera land was already available, there was no issue in land acquisition, we might have lost this opportunity to build our own semiconductor factory if we relied on Maha just like we lost Intel to Vietnam in 2005 and now Intel has become the biggest semiconductor brand, imagine we hadn't wasted time in 2005? We would be manufacturing our own semiconductor chips, I'm glad we didn't waste any time this time.
