There's a video of him wrestling a dude, and he put him down quick. He's a physical freak of nature, and there's definitely a genetic element, his daughter won that race after stopping to tie her fucking shoes. Something in the water in Omaha, or at least in the Crawford household.

If I remember correctly bud said in an interview he doesn’t watch tape😮. A lot of fighters probably say that and it’s bs to make them seem better but in his case I think it’s might be true. His fight iq and instincts are just that fine tuned that you can’t show him anything he hasn’t seen or can’t figure out.

Bomac and the team does the homework. They train Bud to be ready for certain scenarios. But Bud is able to adjust on the fly on his own too. There's too much IQ in the corner and him.

@@jstos3675many would agree with you. Both great fighters who were bigger and who fought in a better era. No denying that. But I can’t overlook SRL’s loss to Terry Norris. Ray was younger than Crawford was when Bud whipped Spence. The thing is, Leonard looked very human against a top athlete in Norris. Terrible Terry was faster, stronger and hit harder. He just dominated SRL. It doesn’t fit the narrative, so people skip it. Crawford isn’t exactly like Norris (Bud is smaller, longer and way more deliberate). I see him as a weird cross between SweetPea Whittaker and Hagler. I know he’s stronger than Leonard. I believe he hits harder and he’s got a reach advantage. The question is how would their speed match up. Leonard is fast. Both are smart. Hearns outboxed SRL both times they fought. Leonard won the first fight on grit and determination in what I still think was his best performance. The second fight draw was universally regarded as a poor decision. My point is that SRL can be and was outboxed. Hearns I think would pose a big problem for Crawford at 147 in the early rounds. But Tommy was better at 154. At 147 he was so skinny. He could be hurt. I think Bud cracks that body.

@@seanrc8642 SRL was waaaaaay past his prime when he fought Norris, come on now. That's like judging Ali by his fight with Berbick. And in any event, Norris was a waaaaaaay better fighter than Spence. Leonard beats Crawford. It would be a great fight but ultimately Sugar would prevail. Bud's never really been tested. We don't know how he would handle adversity. Hell, we don't really know what kinda chin he has, he's never really taken hard shots. Meanwhile, Leonard's been forged in fire and has, with 1 exception, always come out on top. Leonard was the jack of all trades, it didn't matter if you outboxes him, he could adapt to any opponent. As for Hearns, I agree that Bud would have a chance bu t he would have to become a slugger like Leonard did and knock out Hearns. The question is: could he take Hearn's right hand?

@@jstos3675again, as I said, SRL was younger than Bud when Bud beat Spence. I’ve run into this before, usually from the Tyson crowd: two fighters at or near the same age but your guy was waaaaaay past his prime so my guy has an unfair advantage … even though he did better at an older age. Weak sauce. The reality is that SRL is overrated. Dude loved the cola and the nightlife whereas Crawford is always in the gym. I’m going with the guy who actually likes to fight. I’m not at all certain Norris is better than Spence-he’s more athletic but more chinny. Regardless, at 147 I think Leonard is in trouble. Crawford is going to be more prepared, stronger, cleaner and meaner. He doesn’t win fights stealing rounds in the last twenty seconds. He knocks dudes out.

Horn beat Pacquiao with the help of the referee and the judging panel. True, a younger fresher Pac would've likely KO'd that man, leaving nothing for the judges to give. But age had nothing to do with the crazy number of headbutts, elbows, and lowblows Jeff Horn was allowed to dish out freely and frequently, in front of the refs, judges, and the viewers to see.

A younger Pacquiao would have probably killed horn. Basically Hatton result but worse. But he was robbed anyway. Put horn in the hospital for a week
