Yeah, I sympathize Cuba, which after Obama lifted the 6 decades of embargo on the country, sadly was short lived because of Trump and his stupid racist decisions along with his Republican posses being idiots when they re-enacted sanctions during Trump’s time in office, and I feel bad, this hurt them badly, not just for tourism but also economically, because Cuba wanted to change and get out of their communistic ways, I will give Cuba praise because they getting through the pandemic much better than Europe, and especially both the United States, and China.

The embargo has been condemned as inhumane by the U.N. The only two countries that didn't were the US and Israel. @godfather7339

Because of bad voting systems, that are built in a way so that we don't get actually get the ruler we want. For example in America, the voting system is such that only 2 parties exist, and people can't vote a 3rd party if they want to, because the US system says "F u" to 49% and giving them 0 power while in reality, 49% votes should get 4ô% power and the 51%, 51% power. If suppose 20 % of people vote for someone, you are going to get 0 "because you lost". There are many good systems these days, and also used in some countries, for example check out Irelands system. Secondly, the problem also lies outside of the voting system itself, news media plays a huge role in who we vote for, we never meet these people personally, maybe we see him giving a speech, but the most we see it through is News. So you elect only the people that the news guys want, and most of the times, News guys want people who pay them the most.

@tyemaynard3478
@tyemaynard3478 Жыл бұрын
The US government tells you that democracy solves everything, but they don't tell you what they mean by "democracy". What they actually mean is anyone, including military dictators, is democratic as long as they abide by US interests. Such as the the US-controlled South Korean "democracy" which murdered hundreds of thousands of communists in the Bodo League Massacre in 1950, or the overthrow of democratically elected Arbenz in Guatemala or Allende in Chile, or the Indonesian mass killings that the US helped with which killed 1-2 million people, or the invasion of Libya, and I could go on and on. Oddly enough, the US backed leader of Cuba before the revolution was a military dictator named Batista. The Cuban revolution was a popular revolution which overthrew the oppressive order of the previous regime and replaced it with a popular socialist system. The US only started having a problem with Cuba's political system AFTER Batista was overthrown, despite the post-revolution political system being MORE democratic than the US ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aMd9psxeppualKc.html ).

If there is a real embargo against Cuba, how is it that Cuba has an international debt that it is not paying off, of more than $30,000,000,000 USD and is currently being sued in international court in London for more than $1,000,000,000 USD of that debt. More international lawsuits to come, I am sure. This must be one of the weakest embargos in the history of the world.

The policies of communist regime have turned the county into a giant political and economic prison. Forced labor bordering on slavery is endemic. The U.S. is right to avoid supporting this system.
