Love the video man!!! 💥 I've noticed that you always write only on one side of the page, is there any specific reason? Or is it simply because you do not like to write on the other side? ✍️

Hey man, well spotted didnt even notice that myself haha. Not particular reason man most likely because i thought it was a lot neater when i first started writing in it :)

Hi, do you post your results on myfxbook or anything?
@MichaelBamber
@MichaelBamber 6 жыл бұрын
Hey man, no not currently. I Will likely do it in the future once i hit the level of consistency that i'm aiming to hit. But for right now, i would rather keep it private until i get to the level i want to get to.

Ah okay, you just have to be careful with the whole YT trading mentor thing these days, it's a very saturated market with a lot of untrustworthy individuals. I wish you all the best with your journey!
@MichaelBamber
@MichaelBamber 6 жыл бұрын
Agreed man couldn't agree more. Thats the reason i really want to document everything on this platform and be as transparent as possible. The goal with this platform when i started was the document the steps i am taking to achieve consistency as apposed to results week on week. Definitely going to include both but its more of the journey as apposed to showing results all of the time. But as i build up the consistency, i could definitely do videos on "Month End Results for November" etc etc. Thanks man you too
@UncleColin
@UncleColin 6 жыл бұрын
Yes, that's a great idea although publicly posting month end results could cause unnecessary stress when going through losing streaks. Definitely, something along those lines could be a good idea, like a visual trading journal. Apologies I only came across your videos the other day, one thing I heard you say that (I believe your mentor is Michael) if your analysis matches with his, or doesn't match for that matter, you know you need to check your analysis or vice versa. Your mentor may be more experienced than you, however, it doesn't make him right, you have to make up your own mind. Trading is a business and your losing trades are your overheads. Learning to lose properly is the key to slow steady gains over time. I'm sure you know what you're doing, this is purely an observation and quite possibly a wrong one it was just something I noticed. You seem like a nice dude, Michael I wish you all the best for your future. You appear very dedicated in the video I watched, therefore, I cannot see it not being a prosperous one. Keep up the hard work. Peace - Colin

Hi michael! Between what times do you trade?
@MichaelBamber
@MichaelBamber 6 жыл бұрын
Hey man, its actually at any point. There isn't a certain point or session i purely trade in. I use the Falcon Strat so its my style to set an entry order when a setup materialises. But if i had to pick what session the majority of the trades i take materialise it would be london session
@stefanp111

Thanks for the fast reply micheal! You really motivate me to keep working hard and avoiding working the 9-5 the rest of my life.
@breadstick7431
@breadstick7431 6 жыл бұрын
@stefan P You do realise that the majority of full time prop traders work from 8-4:30/5 atleast (UK Time) as its the european/London session and is where most market movements occur. The statement that you can quit your 9-5 implying that you will only work for 1 or 2 hours a day is just daft because if it was that easy everyone would do it. Yes trading does give you flexibility but Dont go into it thinking your going to be working for 2 hours a day its like any other career you have to put in time and be consistant for it to work mindset and psychology is everything in trading - dont be influenced by social media and if someone roles with ‘quit your 9-5’ is probabley selling you the idea of the lifestyle and not what you are acctually going to need to do
